Thank you for these lovely sweet words Barbara - it really makes me smile so much hearing this. I know that everyone is creative, and sometimes there are a lot of constraints that hold people back - yay to more creative freedom. Please make sure to show me what you create; you can tag me on social media @petalplum (on Instagram).
Thank you to Ellie Beck
I loved your Hand Print and Sew Your Own Fabric presentation! Unfortunately, my husband is sensitive to chemicals - he has been known to pass out! Do you paint outdoors or in a ventilated area? I will be following your instructions, but using fabric crayons and markers rather than the acrylic paint and fabric paint medium. I love your joyous teaching style.

Hi, Absolutely do what works best for you. Yes, outside or in a well ventilated place. I find that some paints are definitely more 'chemical' smell than others. I often use actual fabric screen printing paint (but didn't for this tutorial, as more people have access to regular paint, and it's often easier to find at local craft shops), and I find some brands to be much less chemical than other brands. I'm glad that you're enjoying the class. Please do share what you create - you can tag me on social media @petalplum 🙂
