Map- My reflections from level 3
After reaching level 3 in this amazing community ( Kylie, you are doing an amazing job here, and thank you) , I would love to share some takeaways from my time here. Social media no longer feels like a need, but just a tool that I can choose not to use. Having a clear vision of my email list and only by having the option and being part of the Skool communities has opened my eyes to new and, I have to say, better ways to connect with my audience. 💜

@Laura Kendrick that is awesome, it doesn’t feel controlling , you have the power, not the algorithm.

Instead, you’ll find: - Thoughtful conversations - Resources that unlock as you participate - A focus on email, collaborations, and relationship-led visibility - Space to grow in a way that feels steady and sustainable You’re welcome to observe quietly at first - or jump straight into conversation. There’s no “right” way to be here. YOUR NEXT STEP: Watch the welcome video below and then comment "GROWTH" in the comments so I know you've seen it. Welcome everyone!
What I’ve learned about being on Skool at 56
I spent 35 years building other peoples businesses. The last 7 included mine. My priorities are very different now at 56 than they were when I first started. Here are a few things I’ve realized recently. 1️⃣ I’m not trying to build a giant empire anymore. What matters more to me now is consistent monthly recurring revenue that supports the life I want to live. 2️⃣ Even an extra $1K–$2K a month can be meaningful if it’s invested well and compounded over time. That’s how I’m thinking about income now. 3️⃣ I care a lot more about simplicity than scale. Skool lets me host community, share ideas, and test things without needing a huge stack of tools, teams or overhead. 4️⃣ Being an empty nester and single again has changed how I look at work. I want something I can run from anywhere that still lets me focus on my health, travel, visit my adult kids and the parts of life that matter. 5️⃣ At this stage, it feels less about chasing the next big win and more about building something sustainable that works for me long term. Curious what others here have learned about building on Skool as your priorities change.

🎂 Birthday Month Club 🎂
Okay, confession: I celebrate my birthday for the entire month of June. Zero shame. Full main character energy. So… I thought we should do birthdays properly in here. If you’d like to, drop your birthday (month + day) below. Totally optional. No weird data collection vibes. Just humans celebrating humans. At the start of each month, I’ll post a birthday shoutout so we can celebrate our legends properly. Because business growth is important. But so is joy.
