Progress Comes From Action 📚🔥
🔥You get out what you put in. I wanted to take a few minutes to recognize some community members who are taking what they’ve learned and actually putting it into motion. Results don’t happen because you join a community, buy a course, or save a post. Results happen when you take action. 📣 @Gemma Coles (my VIP client) launched her book in less than 8 weeks. She’s already seeing sales, working on gathering reviews, actively marketing her book, and she's already thinking about the next one. That's publisher thinking. @Pat Terrell followed the lessons inside Premium and used the step-by-step process to get her book published and live on Amazon. @Gale Bates started by moving her planner from only being sold on her own website over to Amazon KDP, making it easier for people around the world to buy it. Since then, she’s already moved into launching a children’s book and has plans for more. @Tara Adler joined the call last night where I was able to help with some keyword research (replay coming soon 👀). She’s actively working on multiple books at once... and no, not ideal Tara is just an overachiever 😂 @Jim Flach has some great ideas in the works and decided to start with a children’s book in his niche so he could move through the process more quickly and learn by doing. 🎉 There are many people in this community making progress, and every small step matters. Whether you're writing, researching, designing, publishing, or marketing — movement creates momentum. The people taking action are moving closer to launch goals and sales goals. The people sitting on the sidelines? Those goals stay exactly where they are. "You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to become great." Drop a comment below and tell us: What is ONE thing you're working on right now? 👇

Considering a cover change
I'm considering changing the cover on the main book. At a recent book fair, people mostly assumed it was for kids under 8, but it’s actually targeted toward 10-year-olds (8-13). The first cover is the one that's on Amazon right now and I do about five sales a day. The second cover is not the final version, just something I created with ChatGPT as a potential alternative. Would love to know your thoughts.

The 90s Kid in Me Had to Publish This Book
The very first book I ever published was 90's Nostalgia! ☮️💿🖥️🎵 Honestly, this wasn’t a book I created to chase sales or try to build a business around. It was purely a passion project. I wanted to create something fun, keep it short, enjoy the process, and most importantly… learn how self-publishing actually worked from start to finish. Growing up in the 90s was such a fun experience, and reflecting back on that time period always brings me joy. The music, TV shows, toys, snacks, fashion…there was just something special about that era. At one point, I even considered creating a Skool community centered around 90s nostalgia, but realistically, I already spend so much time building and supporting this community that I knew I wouldn’t have the time to properly maintain another one. That’s why I was excited when I came across a community called 90s Nostalgia. I’ve genuinely been having a lot of fun engaging in there lately. Max runs the group, and his goal is to hit 100 members this week. So if you’re looking for a fun community with no strings attached and you also loved growing up in the 90s, definitely go check out his group! Now I’m curious… what’s one thing from the 90s that instantly brings back memories for you? 👀

3 Things You Can Do NOW to Move Your Book Forward 📚✨
➡️ 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝘁𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗰 𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗺𝗮𝘇𝗼𝗻. Before you spend months writing, validate the idea first. Amazon is a search engine, and readers are constantly searching for solutions, entertainment, inspiration, and answers to problems. Spend some time this weekend looking at book titles, covers, customer reviews, categories, and keywords in your niche. Pay attention to what books are already doing well, what readers are complaining about, and what seems to be missing in the market. Some of the BEST ideas for chapter topics, positioning, and subtitles can come directly from reading reviews. 📖 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸. A lot of people wait until their book is “done” before talking about it, but creating visibility early can actually help motivate you to finish it. This weekend, create a mockup cover in Canva, brainstorm title ideas, or post about your writing progress online. The moment you start visualizing your book, it begins to feel REAL instead of just another idea sitting in your notes app. ✍️ 𝗪𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁 1𝗸 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀 If you’re targeting a 30k word book, consistency matters more than disappearing for months trying to write the “perfect” manuscript. Most of us are building books while balancing jobs, kids, businesses, relationships, and everyday life. The goal is momentum, not perfection. And remember… you can always edit later, rewrite later, and improve later. But you cannot improve a blank page. Even writing 1,000 words this weekend moves your book one step closer to becoming real. So…Which one are you committing to this weekend? 👀
