Hey hi
Little personal news: I'm moving to a different state. I've been living at a different state than my family for the past 4 years. Now im moving back to be closer to them for 2 reasons: - Raising a child away from family support is super hard. - We got our own apartment there, so that means no more rent. Just a small debt for a quick 30 years, it will go by fast. So I'm not giving up on this place. Just too busy trying to box everything, sell some stuff, find a painter to deliver our rented house and other moving arrangements. I'll be back to the old rhythm in a couple of weeks hopefully with better support for everything and more time to work on my projects and give all of you the roastings you're looking for.

So glad you can move close to family.
The one thing that differentiates a bad community from a good community
[ROAST MY LESSON] Are the community members heard? When they make a post, do they get an answer? Can they hop on a call and get to talk instead of just listening? Communities are not about consuming content. It's not a podium where you just get heard by your members. It's a space for people to talk and be heard. And the least work the admins need to do for that to happen the more successful the community is. A great community is a place where members start and develop conversations by themselves without too much need to be prompted by the admins. And that can only happen if you develop a space where people get answers and engagment from what they post. So how do you do that? Ask simple questions, create challenges, offer feedback on what people are building. Prompt people to talk about themselves and engage with them. Give shoutouts, celebrate wins. Have clear rules to prevent spammers and scammers, but not rigid to the point of suffocating your member's creativity. Be a leader, not a guru. Don't just dump content and expect people to applaud you. A community is a place where everyone gets an opportunity to shine, not just you.

Honestly. This is a helpful reminder. It reminds us to focus on the people and on connection. You might take the “so how do you do that?” Paragraph and make it bullet points. Those are the action steps and they’ll stand out more.
Roast my updated About page
I took my community back to the original purpose and niche that I serve in my private practice to make everything cohesive. Time for a good roast. Note: I know I still need a VSL. This request is for messaging. Do you know who the message is targeting and is the messaging resonating? https://www.skool.com/wealth-warriors-community-1025/about?ref=98f6434472254253b84ed49d2cce7860

@Gus Gray Yes! I haven’t been through divorce, but have had major income disruption through mold remediation. If you want to broaden it beyond divorced women, you would want to switch the wording.
What does it say to you...
Reworking my about page image.. So two questions... When you see either one of these, what message do you get, what do you think it's saying to you. Then which image appeals to you more.

I like the second one best and agree that the finger point is a bit much and distracting. It also looks like the arrow is going to your hand. Yellow grabs attention so I do like that aspect in the second image.
Roast my about page!
I’m prepping to bring in people and really start building my community. People are looking at the about page and not joining so please give me all your advice about the video and the content! The Mold Illness Academy

@John Smith Awesome. That’s true. It will come later. I have a free course so I need to promote that more.
