Australia for Americans?
Just curious... as perhaps the lone American football kicker in the AFL, I need to know if this map accurately showcases Australia for those of us who have yet to set foot on the continent?

Australia for Americans?
Coaching a junior team + a question for you
I just uploaded a new video where I worked with a junior girls’ footy club on their kicking fundamentals. If you’ve ever wondered how I coach real players... or want to pick up a few technique tips yourself... this one’s worth watching. 👉 Watch it here on YouTube Now, something I’m thinking of doing… I’m planning a live online workshop for parents and coaches who want to better support their kids with kicking. It’ll be a 30–45 minute session where I break down the 5-phase kicking system I use in all my coaching... with time for Q&A at the end. If you're interested, just comment “YES” below and I’ll send you the early access details. No pressure... just seeing who’s keen before I lock it in. Cheers, Josh

Thanks for the footy lessons... funny that it's basically the opposite of a football punt. 🏈
🆓Free Program for the first 5 people
I have just put together The Exact 4-Week Schedule to Build Explosive Athleticism Without Overtraining, and would like your feedback on it. So I will give it to you for free if you are willing to tell me what you think of it, and are one of the first 5 people to comment "yes please" below. Best regards Josh

I doubt that I "will do it", but I'd be interested to review it!
What would you like to see?
I’m looking to make some more helpful videos (like the one below) and would love to know what you’d want to improve. Please comment below and I’ll see what I can do!

@Josh Growden Love it! So much from AFL is practical in American football. Wasn't expecting the turn-overs at the end. Key for our punters is directional punting (and you could say, directional place kicking). J, not C, is a neat way to put it. We see too many soccer players who try to kick corner kicks and wonder why they can't keep the ball aligned. Finish to the posts (keep your shoulders square and just keep walking toward the goal), no matter the run up is the key to accuracy. 🏈
The Hardest Part of Elite Sport Isn’t Getting There—It’s Staying There
I sent the following message to my email list and it got a large number of enquiries... so I wanted to share it here so you (or someone you know) can have a chance of getting more guidance from me: When I played professional sports, there was so much I wish I had done to make the most of the opportunity. ✅ Getting drafted into the AFL was the easy part. ✅ Earning a scholarship to play College Football at LSU was the easy part. ❌ Keeping my spot at those levels? That was the hard part. So many players are chasing the same dream of making it to the top level... but aren't prepared when they get there. To maximize your performance and stay at the top, you need to master these four pillars: 🛠 Physical – Strength, power, speed, endurance, mobility. 🧠 Mental – Confidence, decision-making, handling pressure. 🎯 Technical – Skill technique and execution ♟ Tactical – Game awareness, strategy, and performance under pressure After earning my Master’s Degree in High Performance Sport, I’ve helped stacks of players improve in all four areas—so they can keep their roles, avoid costly mistakes, and save years of struggle. If you’re serious about improving and want to work with me one-on-one, click the link below to apply now. Bests, Josh ➡️ Click here to see if you qualify

You’re so right. When I made it to the NFL, i was just happy to have arrived, but wasn’t prepared to actually win the job from the guy who had it. See yourself (and prepare yourself) BEYOND the nect goal. A good mentor can make all the difference.
