@Navigating Life You know it!! lol
Antibiotic side effect??
I'm on antibiotics right now and cant decide if its those or my anxiety or just hormones that has me feeling a fat puffer fish. Maybe its all 3 working together to piss me off. Putting on pants with buttons is a pain in the ass right now so I think I will be living my "stretchy pants era" for a bit 😅 Anyone else deal with this while on antibiotics??

I've never heard of that, not saying it can't happen, but I don't think it's a very common thing for antibiotics to cause weight gain. I'd attribute it to the hormones and perhaps stress that you've been under with your dental procedures. Plus, sometimes we all just feel a little puffy and deserve to wear stretchy pants till we feel better! I've had a few omg, wtf was that feelings that I've just chalked up to hormones and getting older. 🤦🏻‍♀️ 🙄😆
I hate the dentist
I have a dental procedure today and I am terrified. Its irrational fear but it's there nonetheless. I have had one cleaning 6 months ago and the last one before that was 20 years ago....so my mouth is in bad shape. Had a wisdom tooth come in at 38 and fall out at 41. And since then my mouth has gone downhill. Was fine up until that pesky wisdom tooth. The ONLY reason I am going today is because of my daughter and not wanting her to have the fears I have. Has anyone here done the scaling procedure? The "deep cleaning of the gums". Any advice on before or after anxiety management??

I have that same fear of the dentist, I go, I just don't like it. I haven't had scaling done but my mom did. I am trying to think back about her experience. I know she didn't care for the dentist either. I would ask for some valuim if it makes you that anxious, there are a lot of people who do take something because of the anxiety of dental procedures. It's not an uncommon thing. When my mom had it done, it wasn't comfortable and she was sore for a few days after having it done. I'd maybe take a preemptive tylenol or advil before your appt. I know this doesn't help you much but know you're defintely not alone.
am i awful??
Summer is almost over (9 days left) and I feel selfish for being happy about my kid going back to school. I will miss her but I want her back with her friends and I want solo days back with my hubby. I feel like that makes me awful. And then I get all sad and a little anxiety knowing that there are only 2 more summers together as a family before she may leave for college or whatever adventure she wants. Being a parent is emotionally draining 🫠

Not awful at all. There were some summers us moms were doing the happy dance the day the kiddos went back to school. I love my kid with all my heart, but there were some days I was so glad he was going to school and I was going to have a little "me" time. You are so right, it is emotionally draining.
Oooh boy
So 5 days after our 21st Anniversary. Is when I realized we both missed it. Is that a bad thing? But does the fact that our Anniversary was on Fathers Day this year.. give us a pass on forgetting? lol 😂

I agree with Michelle. May and June are super busy months for us here. Both mine and my hubs bdays can randomly fall on... Mine- Mother's day His - Father's day and our son's bday, sister's bday and our anniversary are all contained within those 2 months. It can be a little overwhelming sometimes. After 21 years, you deserve a pass! lol We just celebrated our 19th. Just go with the flow unless it upsets you.
