Folks, if you were on the call earlier this week, we got to talking about a movie night, which I also saw @Lena Lieuvin talking in a thread about having a list of great movies that members like.. @Piter Marek and I chatted after the group and thought, "Ok, we can pitch pilots for shows, movies, etc." We could vote on a show or a movie, or we could have an ongoing list that we slowly burn through. THINGS TO THINK ABOUT not everyone has every streaming service. I personally have the cheap version of Netflix with commercials, and that’s it for paid streaming services. But of course, there are also streaming services such as Tubi or Plex that have great content and are free with commercials. TELEPARTY The other idea I thought of is I’ve used the app "Teleparty," which allows a group of people to watch a movie together, but we all have to have, for example, a Netflix account. But it also runs Tubi. There’s no need to buy the Teleparty premium package; I’ve always used the free version, and it’s been fine. I realize that may not work for some in terms of time zones, so if, in the end, we vote to watch them on our time and then get together and discuss, that is fine by me. FRAMING THE MOVIE NIGHT Could be looking at Genre, theme, character development etc... Give us your thoughts below.
