Here's what to say if you are stuck.
"Lord, all my life I've don't it my way, tonight I surrender everything to you lord. I give you my life, I give you my whole being. I trust you with everything, and I'm saying to you tonight lord, l tried it my way and I failed. I failed lord, I failed and to add to the word failure, miserably I failed. Not only I failed but miserably I failed. Lord take over, I can't do it anymore, I don't wanna do it anymore, my way. You do as you please lord. Amen. Jesus loves yall

Today’s sign from god
Good afternoon Team Grit! I kinda got lazy with my runs and i have started making excuses lately. I’m taking this as a sign from god here. This is the inside of one of my running socks specifically made for running. It actually says blister resist but, it was laying on the floor with both socks inside out just like this. Resist the temptations of immediate gratification from lying down and quitting, saying “i can’t”, and making excuses. Thats when you need to be there for yourself the most. What are some signs you are seeing from god lately that makes you think it’s time to change? Post it in the comments! I really want to hear what you all have! “Go out, lead, and be great.” -Ryan Buckingham

🙌 Friday 22 May-Win 💪
Tonight I put my cell phone down at 7PM and gave my full attention to my wife while watching her favorite movie. No constant checking real estate messages. No social media scrolling. No pressure to respond to every text immediately. Just being present. How many of you have wives or kids begging for your attention while you sit there attached to your phone? Answering emails.Scrolling social media.Replying to everyone else…while the people you love most are sitting right beside you waiting for your attention. Men… we have to be better. Success means nothing if your family feels emotionally alone while you chase it. Tonight was a reminder:being fully present is part of leadership too. Trying to become a better husband, father, and man one decision at a time. What’s one win you had today? It can be anything you’re proud of!

Almost ran 4.5 miles today but the heat and humidity were just too much for my body to keep up with my mind. We recover, hydrate, and try again tomorrow!

@Ryan Buckingham @Matthew Tacey i love what Ryan said here. To me it sounds like you’re really zoomed out on your perspective of all the circumstances you are in and worrying about the many things that are/could go wrong. What i tell my friends and family to say to themselves when they find themselves in these scenarios is, “I need to zoom in”. Focus on one thing at a time and complete them while trying your hardest to commit to that one thing without getting sidetracked. When you have a lot to do and a “zoomed out” perspective as i put it, you’re looking at many problems laid out in front of you. Train your mind to zoom in. Great things to think about is trying to add structure to each day. Maybe making a check off list, setting reminders on your phone/calendar, personally i have found that structure and planning eliminates anxiety. So does working out, but i can get in the weeds with that one haha! If you need me as an accountability partner for things just let me know and i can help you get in shape and be healthy mentally/physically for your family.
