Is healing different for everyone❓
YES, is the short answer. We all have different circumstances to heal from and we all have a different end point to get to. What this means to me is how dare we judge others for not being as far along as us or criticize ourselves for not being as far along as others. There can be similarities like realizations, enlightenment and a deeper understanding of ourselves. The capacity per person is not all the same. One of the beliefs that I am currently working on better understanding is that everybody who has been through hard times has a depth that if others have not struggled don’t have. When you explore your emotional range I think that allows certain parts of your mind to be exercised. What do you think about achieving intellectual and emotional depth? Is it through overcoming struggles or can it be also when living a life of ease?

@Moya Rang In my personal experiences and stories of others depth has come from pain. I haven’t seen or heard of an example where that doesn’t apply. It doesn’t mean that is the only way. I haven’t heard of somebody being able to really grasp someone else’s situation fully unless they have experienced something very similar. Not in terms of circumstances, but emotional responses to those situations .

@Moya Rang I believe we can grow while maintaining peace, calm, and happiness in our lives. The base of emotional intelligence comes from the understanding of how to deal with hardship so I believe the overcoming of struggle can be the first step and then after that we can grow in a pleasant state.
