Confirmation Bias
Confirmation bias isn't just believing every crow is a message from the universe. It can work the other way too. · If you believe you're not intuitive, you may dismiss intuitive hits as coincidence. · If you believe you can't feel energy, you may ignore subtle sensations. · If you believe your magick doesn't work, you may overlook results that don't look exactly like you expected. Healthy skepticism means questioning the things you desperately want to believe. But it also means questioning the things you've already decided you can't do.

@Tracy Nicholas we are a lot alike in that area...I've been very lucky with all my jobs, too. Really haven't had to try too hard, but not all of them were great for me. I'm currently in that same boat right now. I have a part-time job at a library I worked at previously, but my heart isn't in it and I'm constantly looking for reasons to quit lol. I'm working towards making Skool my job or part of it anyways. I want to do things I love and make a living doing so. I've been trying to do this very thing for numerous years now. I know I don't like authority and working for someone else. I would rather have my own business or side hustle and make it work. I'm close...very close. I could quit now and make it work, but it would be stressful and I don't want to frantically try to make ends meet lol. BUT I look at my life and think...how much time is left to pursue my joys? I mean...other people do it...why not me? I hear you, sister! I will totally get on a call and give you a most supportive bitch slap if necessary LOL! Happy to brainstorm, my friend!
Sigils Work!!
Okay so truth be told I'm actually rather newish to the world of magic and spells and sigils - So when @Tracy Nicholas did her How to make a sigil live over on Substack I was thinking this is fun - but wasn't actually expecting it to work. But it did - and continues to work ... Not sure if I feel comfortable telling you exactly what the sigil was for but it is specific and measurable and verifiable. Most importantly it WORKS

I think it's time I explore sigils! 👀✨💖
Tracking Your Magick
The next time something happens that makes you wonder, "Was that magick?" don't rush to answer the question. Write it down. Record: - What happened? - What were you doing beforehand? - What did you notice physically or emotionally? - What did you think it meant at the time? - What happened afterward? Then keep going. One strange experience tells you very little. Ten similar experiences? Now you've got a pattern worth investigating. You don't have to decide immediately what something means. Sometimes the best thing you can do is gather another data point.

This is one of my favorite things to do! I have a journal where I write down all of my vivid dreams and all of the magical happenings that happened to me. I like to have something that I can read and go back to for reference when other things happen to find synchronicities and patterns. ✨✨✨
Technology and Magick
I used to be ahead of the curve with technology. I had a personal computer at home before anyone else I knew (except my brother, but he has a degree and works in tech). It was a mac and it was so long ago that the monitor only came in that weird yellowish beige that all monitors came in. Of late, though, I have become a bit more of a luddite. I don't save anything to the cloud. I actually own my own copy of Microsoft Office (2013, LOL). There are lots of other example, but you get the idea. I had been thinking it was me getting older, but the more I research for my next book, the more I become convinced that it is something else entirely. I have instinctively been protecting my energy. What do you do to protect your energy?

That is very wise thinking...and I can understand why you do it. I've taken to hand-writing things down that are important to me, rather than save them on my laptop/cloud/etc. It's like me saving books that I know could be useful someday instead of relying on technology. Perhaps it's some inner knowing. I've started putting my phone inside my nightstand when I sleep at night. Does that count?

@Ryan Clark that is equally important! Time for self is essential to my mental health ✨💖
Is it a sign?
A couple of days ago it was really dark and gloomy out and raining on and off. At one point there was some thunder. It started pretty low but rose dramatically to the point of the windows rattling and I could feel the floor shaking below my feet at the height of it. It also went on and on - at least 40+ seconds. I have never heard anything like like it. I even looked online to see if there had been some sort of explosion nearby, but I couldn't find anything. Well, you know ya girl - I started trying to figure out what kind of message I was supposed to be paying attention to with this very unusual event. I mulled on it for two days. Then earlier this afternoon I put it together. This weekend is the Air and Water show here. It was the Blue Angels in their fighter planes rehearsing. 🤣✈️
