Why 10mg and 50mg Peptides Come in the Same Size Vial 🧪
This one comes up a lot, so let’s clear it up 👇 People see a 10mg peptide and a 50mg peptide, both in the same size vial, and wonder… “Wait, shouldn’t the 50mg come in a bigger vial?” Here’s the deal: - Powder volume is tiny. Even 50mg of most peptides is just a small puff of fluffy powder. The actual space difference between 10mg and 50mg is almost nothing. Plus, it's mixed with the same amount of stabilizers. - Manufacturing efficiency. Companies use the same standard vial sizes (3mL, 5mL, etc.) for everything. It keeps costs down and avoids mistakes. - Flexibility for mixing. The vial isn’t sized to the peptide—it’s sized to give enough room for whatever amount of bacteriostatic water you want to add when reconstituting. It's pretty much always 3mL as you've probably noticed. 👉 So the vial size is about convenience and consistency, not the peptide amount. Think of it like buying protein powder—whether you buy a 2lb or 5lb tub, the scoop inside is the same size.

@Lisa G Honestly hasn't seemed to affect it at all. I sell into Canada, but I also buy from Canada some lubricant powders for another business I own. So far, I've not had issues. Shipping time out of Canda various depending on the product from a few days to a week usually.

@Lisa G Plus the bacteriostatic water needs what is in the filler to make the water isotonic which more closely matches your body chemistry, else it would cause cells to swell and cause pain.
Introducing Sublingual Peptide Strips from Simple Peptides 🧬
Simple Peptides? Or Simple Supplements? Simple is expanding their product line and just launched their line of dissolvable peptide strips. I love seeing innovation in the space and pushing new horizons. I know what you may be thinking—"I thought the only real way to use peptides was the injectable route." 📊 My Personal Experience: I actually started my research journey with tesamorelin in troche form (also sublingual): - Starting IGF-1: 96 - After 3 months: 312 - Result: 225% increase without a single injection So I am a believer in sublingual routes! 💯 💡 Why Sublingual Works: The Science How it works: - The thin membranes under your tongue (sublingual), inside your cheek (buccal), and on the roof of your mouth (palatine) are richly supplied with capillaries - These permeable tissues allow direct absorption into the bloodstream - Active compounds bypass the digestive system entirely Why this matters: - ✅ Skips stomach acids that destroy delicate peptides - ✅ Avoids liver metabolism (first-pass effect) - ✅ Protects ingredients from digestive enzymes - ✅ Higher bioavailability compared to oral pills The bottom line: Sublingual, buccal, and palatine delivery provides a simple and effective method that works quickly without pain or complicated steps. Is it one-to-one with injectable? No—that will always be the most bioavailable. But for convenience and accessibility, this is a game-changer. 💡 Why Sublingual Works: The Science How it works: - The thin membranes under your tongue (sublingual), inside your cheek (buccal), and on the roof of your mouth (palatine) are richly supplied with capillaries - These permeable tissues allow direct absorption into the bloodstream - Active compounds bypass the digestive system entirely Why this matters: - ✅ Skips stomach acids that destroy delicate peptides - ✅ Avoids liver metabolism (first-pass effect) - ✅ Protects ingredients from digestive enzymes - ✅ Higher bioavailability compared to oral pills

Is there a place that does peptide strip testing? I've been searching for myself

@Derek Pruski Yeah, I've seen these popping up with suppliers, but I haven't been able to find any reputable lab to do any testing, so we are waiting to carry them.
How To Reconstitute Based On Net Peptide Content From A COA 🧪
Stop wasting peptides by blindly following label dosing! Your COA (Certificate of Analysis) is your best friend - it tells you the ACTUAL peptide content, not what's printed on the vial. Real Example: Thymosin Alpha-1 - Label says: 10mg - COA shows: 7mg actual content - Solution: Adjust your reconstitution ratio The Math Made Simple Standard reconstitution: 10mg peptide + 1ml BAC water = 10mg/ml concentration COA-adjusted reconstitution: 7mg peptide + 0.7ml BAC water = 10mg/ml concentration Why This Matters ✅ Consistent dosing - You get the same concentration every time ✅ No waste - Use exactly what you need ✅ Better results - Accurate dosing leads to predictable outcomes ✅ Cost effective - Maximize every vial Quick Formula New BAC water volume = (Actual mg from COA ÷ Label mg) × Standard volume Example: (7mg ÷ 10mg) × 1ml = 0.7ml BAC water Pro Tips 🔬 Always check your COA before reconstituting 🎯 This method works for ANY peptide 💡 Some peptides test HIGHER than label - adjust accordingly S/O Peptira for making this process easy the net content right on the label Code Derek at Peptira Price Comparison Tool Who else adjusts based on COA results? @Mr Least It can be for many people, that is almost 3/4 more of the dose they should have taken. This is not something I advise anyone to throw caution to the wind with and wing it. Dosing needs to be as precise as you can get it for safety reasons. Always trust the lab test, Derek is right I have done hundreds of tests and whether it is 2, 3, 4 of more vials I always see them come out very close. So, when you see one that is 67% overfilled you can almost be the farm that the others are too.

@Mr Least and it is typically not because of under dosing, I see this a lot too and it is because they be a non-responder, and that happens.
The Truth About Batch Numbers in Research Companies 🧪
Let's clear up some confusion about batch numbers and why they actually matter for transparency, even when vendors create them internally. Here's the Reality: Batch numbers are typically assigned by the vendor themselves - not some external authority. But before you think "that's meaningless," hear me out on why this is actually part of a solid transparency system. How It Should Work in an Ideal World: The Gold Standard Process: 1. Vendor receives a new shipment of peptides from third-party warehouse/overseas supplier 2. Vendor assigns a new batch number to this shipment 3. Critical step: Vendor tests a sample from this specific batch 4. COA (Certificate of Analysis) is generated with results tied to that batch number 5. Process repeats with every new purchase/shipment What to Look For as a Consumer: ✅ Timeline of updated COAs every 3-6 months ✅ Changing batch numbers over time (this is actually GOOD - it shows ongoing testing) ✅ Fresh test dates that align with batch changes Why Trust Still Matters: Yes, you're putting trust in the vendor to: - Actually test each new batch (not just copy old results) - Use legitimate testing facilities - Accurately report results - Assign new batches when they receive new shipments Red Flags to Watch For: ❌ Same batch number for months/years without change ❌ COAs with dates that don't make sense ❌ Refusing to provide batch-specific documentation ❌ Vague or missing testing information Bottom Line: Batch numbers might be "made up" by vendors, but they serve as a crucial tracking system for quality control. When done right, you should see a pattern of rotating batch numbers with corresponding fresh COAs - this indicates the vendor is continuously testing new inventory rather than riding on old results. The transparency isn't in who creates the batch number - it's in the consistent testing and documentation that follows.

This is the exact process we follow at Southern Aminos, yes it requires a level of trust but so does everything that it purchased. It is far rarer that a business is being unethical than ones that are doing the right things. Many of us care greatly about our company's reputation and we go to great lengths even behind the scenes to protect that reputation.

@Bryan Soto 100% Southern Aminos "never" relies on any testing other than our own. Why? because suppliers could just cherry pick and use vials they know would pass a test then send junk in the batch. We select our own vials, and we select the lab we send it to, and I purposely do not use labs that suppliers use, completely independent of any supplier, that is true third-party testing. Any company that is not doing that is not doing things right, period.
Reta + Tirz stacked
am I going crazy or did @Derek Pruski post or TikTok about Tirzepatide being added to Reta but at a lower dosage like 1.5mg / week? I can’t find the post / video anywhere and I have seen someone selling a blend Reta 20mg / Tirz 40mg

@Steve Jardine because that doesn't work for food noise for everyone, myself included. Everyone is different, that doesn't make any blend a gimmick, if something works for someone why make it negative.

@Steve Jardine I Understand, that is why we have choices, it's not one size fits all. It might be necessary for many people and might not be for many others. Yes, I believe discussions are very important but words like gimmick suggest that a company is doing something illegitimate or shady.
