I wanted to share this with the group because Temperance is very much about balance and those of us who are empaths and/or neurodivergent tend to struggle with balance. We may hyperfocus on something to the detriment of other things. We might find it hard to balance the emotions and energy we feel from others along with our own lives, emotions, and energy. It's hard to find that balance. Keywords: Balance • Patience • Harmony Summary: Temperance is a card of gentle balance — the art of blending opposites until they flow together instead of pulling apart. It's a reminder that not everything has to be extreme to be meaningful. Meaning: Temperance often appears when you're being asked to find a middle path — between two choices, two emotions, or two parts of yourself that feel like they're in conflict. This card isn't about compromise in a settling sense; it's about alchemy, blending things thoughtfully until something new and more harmonious emerges. It can point to a need for patience, especially if you've been rushing toward an outcome or forcing a decision before it's ready. Temperance asks you to slow down, breathe, and trust that balance is built gradually, not all at once. It's also a card of healing — bringing together what's been fragmented or at odds within you, little by little, until it feels whole again. I always say: take what resonates and leave what doesn't — your intuition knows this card better than any book ever could. 🌙
