My spouse has a way of showing me love than I couldnt imagine was possible within a Simple smile. The love in her eyes can’t be faked. We haven’t spoken or seen each other in over a month. I miss that smile. I miss the love. I am keeping the faith and hope she will remember that love that is still inside of her. I pray her heart will soften, her internal voice will overpower all the negative people in her ear. I have hope in our future together, even if she has given up and filed for divorce. My prayer is she would agree to be part of this program.

This program will help if you and your husband are willing to do the work. I have learned so much while here. I’m still fighting for my marriage, but my wife has decided she’s done. She has filed for divorce and won’t try to save our marriage. I’m not giving up.

How did you approach starting this with your wife? We have heard about this in church but we have never be able to begin the practice at home. I’m guilty of not taking the lead on this. Now I’m afraid our marriage is going to end because of the mistakes I have made.

@Dave Jenkins I can relate to that. My wife and I have polar opposite communication styles. We got to a point where we forgot about the problem and fought, always weaponizing the past. We have lots of resentment and hurt. We both love each other but she has filed for divorce and we have not spoken in over a month. I have poured myself into my transformation. It’s consumes the majority of my time. Took a big step today and went to a new church. My old church wasn’t an option anymore. Just remember to speak from a place of love. I started wearing a bracelet that reminds me of our love . In times of anger or problems it serves as a reminder for me to remember what’s most important. The next time you are in a disagreement. Stop. Tell her you hear what she is saying and ask if she needs a hug. If she says yes, give her a hug, a real hug. Transfer your love to her. Use that time to remember how much she means to you.
