I've come to the conclusion that the internet and social media is not real life. Everything is curated to get reactions out of us. Stepping out of the life in our devices is necessary for mental health.
I lost an old friend on my birthday of dementia. Great chess player, national tournament director, thespian, actor. Last person you want to see lose their mind grasp. He fought it silently for 11 years.
@Lee Simmons sorry for your loss. The feeling of witnessing someone go away without leaving is difficult to say the least. Several family members of mine have succumbed to dementia. My mother currently has Alzheimer's and I try to join her in her reality to ease her frustration from forgetting words to speak with. I often think of why her soul made a choice to come to this world and contract a disease that will cause her to forget her human experiences. 🙏🏼❤️
@Lee Simmons Ever since starting my spiritual alignment, even when I want to stop, I find myself needing a short break before I get back up twice as motivated.
