The piece of your heart you leave behind
Nobody warns you about the grief you feel when you leave a country you loved. ✈️ You can become really good at packing boxes - although the sound of packing tape is still like nails on a chalk board to me! 😬 You learn how to handle the emotional turmoil that your children go through. And you are a woman on a mission to make the new place feel like "home" as quickly as possible. 💪 But every now and again it hits you - hard. You loved the last place. You had friends there. The school was good, the food was great and the weather was even better. ☀️ And even though you're looking forward to all that and maybe even more in your new location, a piece of your heart will always be somewhere else. 💔 Have you ever had to leave a place before you were ready? Or because you had to? Raising Change Globally

Yes and Yes. And sometimes the memories was ashore and I still need to sit with them.
You Don’t Need to Post More. You Need to Post Differently
Consistency isn’t the problem. Structure is. I’ve reviewed hundreds of posts inside Classifieds. The ones that compound over time all have three things: - A title that answers a real 2AM question - A first 100 words that clearly say who it’s for - A direct link that tells Google and AI exactly where traffic goes That’s it. You don’t need seven posts a week. You need two or three posts that are built correctly. Evergreen beats volume. Quality beats frequency. If you’ve been hesitating because you’re not sure what to post… Or posting often but not getting the traffic you expected.... I’m teaching this live Thursday morning inside my free public group. 11 AM CST This is the final run of this workshop for the month. Not how to post more. How to make fewer posts work harder. 👉 Join the How to Make Your Public Posts Work Harder workshop here

Something you need to know about toilets....
This is for you @Mimi Ramsey 📣 “Mom, something is wrong with my toilet!” I grew up under the tutelage of parents who were firm believers in DIY. If something broke, you fixed it. If you didn’t know how, you learned. By the time I was a teenager, I had at least an apprentice‑level understanding of most of the trades. So naturally, when I had kids, I started teaching them the same skills. But adulthood has a way of shifting the math. I eventually realized that DIY wasn’t always the most productive, or the most cost‑effective, use of my time. Calling a handyman often made more sense. Still, all those years of learning mattered. When I did call someone, I knew what the problem was. I knew the difference between “replace the flushing mechanism” and “you need a whole new toilet.” That knowledge protected me from being upsold, misled, or overwhelmed. But my kids weren’t growing up in the same circumstances I did. They were busy. I was busy. And I found myself wondering: How do you teach someone to know whether they need a plumber, an electrician, or just a $20 part from aisle 14? So on this particular day, when my daughter announced her toilet crisis, I slipped right back into DIY mode. We assessed the situation. It was the flushing mechanism. A simple fix. Off to Home Depot we went. An hour later, after instructions, explanations, and a few “pay attention” moments, the toilet was working perfectly again. ☎️ “Mom,” she said, “why didn’t we just call a plumber?” And that’s when it clicked. You don’t have to be the one to do the work. But knowing what needs to be done gives you power. It gives you clarity. It gives you agency. It keeps you from outsourcing your judgment along with the task. Sometimes the skill isn’t in doing the repair. Sometimes the skill is in understanding the problem well enough to choose your next step with confidence.

@Mimi Ramsey I saw your poll here in the Classifieds. I write and post stuff like this several times a week. Whatever comes to me at the moment. Just never posted any of it here.
THIS IS A PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT BORING CONTENT…
Right I need to say something and I don’t know if it’s just me being dramatic-ish but I am BORED of content at the minute. Not bored of people. Not bored of businesses. BORED of the way we’re all packaging ourselves. I’m KINDA yawning… and that makes me sad. There is SO much content online right now that is technically fine… and yet I feel absolutely not TOFU sausage about it. It’s like beige on beige with a side of beige. Like I read it and I’m like… yes. That is a sentence. Well done. Words were used. Structure happened. Paragraphs were paragraphed. And yet my soul is sat there going, “hmmm… wot… meh.” And before anyone starts GETTING THEIR KNICKERS IN A TWIST, I am DEFO not excluding myself in this. Been there. Done it. Got the huge twisty knickers and the oversized T-shirt to prove it. TEEHEE. Look, I know there are loads of factors at play. A big one I’m gonna blame (yes brace ya selves) is AI diminishing so many people’s creativity and peeps all starting to sound the same. Now before anyone panics, I am NOT anti-AI. I bloody love it. It has some EPIC uses. BUT it will never EVER be you. It can structure. It can tidy. It can assist. It cannot be your nan It cannot be your Tesco breakdown in 2012 It cannot be your weird little side comment that makes everyone go OOOF. That’s what I’m here for. Bringing YOU back. Because here’s where it TOTES gets me. I will jump on a call with someone and within five minutes 🤘FIVE 🤘 they’ve told me a story about a client, their nan, their breakdown in Tesco in 2012, their hot take on some nonsense in their industry and I’m sat there like HELLOOOOOO THAT’S THE STUFF. That’s the magic sauce That’s the EPIC HUMAN bits I love ❤️ That’s the bit that makes me lean in BIG TIME And then they go, “Yeah but I don’t know what to post.” EH? You’ve just delivered content GOLD with a sprinkle of your unique personality on top and you’re telling me you’ve got nout to say? Nope. Not buying it. Pfffftttt… So now I’m a nosey Parker (seriously though… what is a parker?) and I need to ask…

Make Your About page Work Harder For You
If someone discovers you through a Classified post… the next step is quiet. They click your link. They land on your About Page. They’re deciding whether to lean in. That moment isn’t loud. It’s subtle. Your About Page isn’t there to impress. It’s there to orient. • Who is this for? • What changes for me? • What do I do next? Small refinements here create surprising momentum. Friday night, 8 pm CST, I’m reviewing two About Pages live inside the Make It Work Harder series. Not rewriting them. Looking at signal. Clarity. Flow. If your posts are doing their job… your About Page should feel like a natural next step. Calendar 🗓️ link is here. Workshop is 🆓 and there will be a special offer for LIVE attendees. If you can’t make it, will you drop a timeline, day of the week and ideal time when you could? 👇🏻 I am scheduling another date and time & I need two more volunteers. Who wants to grab a shot?? I need your details below! 👇🏻 **UPDATED** Volunteer spots have been claimed! *** If you don't want to wait for the workshop and you want a deep dive review now...
