Stop building your FREE community first.
This is one of the biggest mistakes I see. (and believe I went there too!!) You spend months filling Free with courses, resources, calls, templates and content. Then it’s time to create Premium and you realize… I already gave everything away. 😂 Now you disappear for another six months to build a Premium program. Meanwhile, the members you worked so hard to attract are losing interest. Do it backwards. Design Premium first. (say what??) Make it your signature offer. Make it the place where the real transformation happens. Then work backwards and decide what people need for FREE to get started and see what’s possible. Build the business first. Then build the free community around it. What shift does this make for you?

Makes perfect sense. I wish I had done this. But all the gurus said build your free community first and figure out what they want. Trouble is most of them don't seem to really know or at least know how to express it. Even when asked, they give generic answers. Plus, aren't we supposed to be building our thing and then finding the people that want that. I now have free community/blog and a paid community. Next month I am going to decide if it is worth having two, or to just collapse them back into one.
Smalltalk (Level up)
I'm not a fan of leveling up by force (farming). Nevertheless, I want to give everyone here the opportunity to level up (you'll keep the level later) and at the same time get to know each other better. So I'm opening a "small talk chat" for a few days. Post your thoughts to me and let's get to know each other a little better. What's going through your mind right now?

🥾 LEVEL UP TO THE RIDGE! 🏔️ Make the most of these last days of summer!
We’ve grown plants. We’ve designed islands. Now we’re hitting the trail! 🌲🥾 Welcome to Level Up to the Ridge — our end-of-summer community challenge. Everyone starts with an empty backpack. 🎒 Drop a backpack emoji (or GIF) 🎒 below in the comments! Then help your fellow community members get ready for the climb by adding: 🥾 Boots — to build a strong foundation 🔦 Flashlight — for clarity on the path ahead ⛺ Tent — a place to regroup and recharge 💧 Water — to fuel their momentum 🪢 Rope — support so they never climb alone See someone on the trail? Reply to their backpack and add something they need for the hike. The more people you support, the more support comes back your way. And remember, every time you level up in the community, you unlock new resources, opportunities and exclusive perks. 🎒 Drop your backpack below and let’s see how many of us can make it to the ridge before summer ends! 🏔️🙌

@Brenda Rigney I'm using Substack & Pinterest for that.

@Brenda Rigney Unless Skool changed it in the last week, they have no place for either Substack or Pinterest. And, I have requested it in Skoolers more than once. Guess they are aren't into it
