Self confidence
I have found that my self confidence has built by mixing with the right people. If you want to be successful at anything, mix with people who are already successful a what you want to do.

@Derek Fraser Crosson True, it does but if you really want to succeed you have to bite that bullet and meet those people.
8 Growth Mindset Shifts That Work
8 Growth Mindset Shifts That Work What does a growth mindset look like in real-world situations? Here are some positive growth mindset examples: 1. Embrace Any Challenges If you have a growth mindset, instead of feeling overwhelmed, you approach the challenging tasks as an opportunity to learn something new. 2. Learn From Any Feedback – Good Or Bad Feedback can be seen as a form of criticism that points out failures. But not for those with growth mindsets. 3. Seeing Effort As A Way To Be Successful Growth-minded professionals understand that effort is essential for improvement. Whether it’s mastering a new software tool , or a new activity, or engaging in upskilling and reskilling opportunities. 4. Persevering In The Face Of Setbacks In every career, there are setbacks. Projects don’t go as planned. Deals fall through. Goals aren’t met. Someone with a growth mindset sees these “setbacks” as opportunities to learn and grow. 5. Actively Seeking Out Learning Opportunities A key characteristic of people with a growth mindset is their hunger for knowledge. They’re always looking for ways to expand their skills and expertise. Even in areas outside their role. 6. Viewing Competition As Motivation Work environments can be rather competitive at times. It’s easy for individuals with a fixed mindset to see others’ successes as a threat. But someone with a growth mindset flips this script. 7. Pushing Beyond Job Descriptions A growth mindset means that people don’t limit themselves to the skill set of their job descriptions, as opposed to individuals with fixed mindsets. They look for ways to contribute beyond their role, developing new skills in the process. 8. Adapting To Change As the famous Heraclitus said, “The only constant in life is change.” Embracing change is at the heart of a growth mindset, as it fuels the drive to learn, adapt, and evolve. By welcoming new challenges and opportunities, we open ourselves to continuous growth and lifelong learning - both of which are essential for personal and professional success.

I totally agree with all those points and have been a great believer in this type of mindset for a long time now.

7 Instant Steps To Transform Your Life
Progress in life is all about reinvention and transformation. It’s about deciding to do things differently and implementing those changes! Whenever you find something about yourself you want to change, you need to look for a way to reinvent yourself and transform your beliefs and mindset! Here are a few Instant changes you can make right now, to be the person you crave to be. 1. Visualise yourself being that ideal version of you. Imagine for instance that you are a sculptor. A sculptor looks at his or her piece of stone and endlessly questions new ways to shape it. And if he or she thinks of something to change, there is no emotional attachment. They just do it. This is how you need to see yourself — as a work of art, always in progress. My vision, consisted of me getting off my backside and writing out a plan of actions, to get me going in the new direction that led to greater satisfaction! 2. Find the habits associated with the thing you want to change. Far too often, people focus too much on the thing they want to change instead of the habits that formed the thing in the first place. For example: They try to solve being overweight with doing a lot of ab exercises, without acknowledging that a contributing factor is the problem with their poor diet. I changed the fact that instead of putting off starting anything, that I took small and decisive steps in writing out a plan of action. 3. Practice every day consistently, no matter what! Change is not something you do some days and then take a break from other days. Change is a shift in lifestyle. It requires daily dedication, to the point where that new habit takes the place of an old one and no longer requires conscious effort. Repetition, Repetition, Repetition! That’s what made a difference to me. Being in the right mindset that’s what produced some definitive results! 4. Set realistic goals. You can’t just wake up one morning and say, “I’m not going to be impatient anymore!” Yes, you are. And you actually help yourself by acknowledging that a bad habit like that won’t be solved immediately. Don’t make the bigger picture so unobtainable that it impedes taking any actions to move you forward!

All of the above beliefs are important, I believe that the most important word in self development is “belief”.
