97% engagement. Wow!
Wow, What a group of social butterflies we’ve got in here! 🦋 97% engagement is brilliant. Out of nearly 400 of us, only 12 people are keeping quiet. That is what community is all about. I’m absolutely buzzing! ☺️🌈🌞😁 Thank you all for being so active and bringing the energy in here. You are all amazing and I feel so grateful for the support you all show up and give each other. 🥰

Congratulations. It's because you've created such a positive, welcoming place to be.
Take a picture of whats in front of you right now!
... And then post it here. (As long as it's not confidential or explicit! 😂) 𝗜 𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂! No explanation, or context, but do tag two other people in here. I just want to see life through your world for a second.👀

She looked down. Wouldn’t even meet my eyes. She was making good money but had nothing to show for it. No plan. No system. Just money coming in and disappearing. And the worst part? She thought she was the problem. She’s not. Most business owners don’t have a money plan; they just have income and hope it works out. If you’re building a business (even with no money), you only need 3 things: 1️⃣ A niche you actually care about 2️⃣ A simple way to make money (we call this our business plan) 3️⃣ A financial plan so your money doesn’t disappear when it comes in (yes, even if you don't have any money you still need the plan) So I'm curious where everyone is at. • What do you do/want to do? (What's your Niche/Offer) • Are you making money yet? (yes/no) •Do you currently have a plan for your money? (Be honest, a lot of entrepreneurs don't) I’ll personally respond and give you one next step you can take immediately and/or I'll tag another RE (Resident Expert) who can help.

I’m a psychologist, and I help coaches create their coaching programs and offers using done-for-you tools and systems in my community the Coaching Resource Room. I previously had a membership and recently moved onto Skool because I really like the community aspect and the ability to grow deeper connections here. My focus is investing back into the business so I can continue scaling, growing the community, and expanding the resources and support I offer coaches ☺️

@Lisa Drennon yes, I pay myself a salary, some into my pension and the rest goes back into my business.
The secret ingredient for great communities 🥰
I just read an article about how play and improv can help people feel more confident and connect more easily. And it got me thinking about our Skool communities. For me, the best communities are places like this one, where you feel comfortable joining in, asking questions, sharing photos of your cutlery drawer 😆, and being yourself without worrying about saying something wrong. I think that’s a big reason some communities feel alive and others feel quiet. As a psychologist, I know people learn and grow faster when they feel safe and connected. A little humour, fun, and authentic conversation can do more than a long training video. People always remember how a community made them feel. What makes an online community feel welcoming to you?

If you're interested, the article I was reading was from Coaching Magazine and you can read it here 🥰
A question I've been struggling with since I started Skool
What goes in Premium and what is Free? I created a program based on my clinical experience as a therapist and my lived experience. I took what I do in therapy and "put it on paper." The program works - that is not the issue. Where I am struggling - my ethics, morals, and character vs the desire to make money. I've been told that I need to lock down my classroom, lock down my program, and make it all premium. I currently have 4 courses and in May will be starting a new one. Right now, my main program is free. I want members to use it. I charge Premium for anything that is a direct interaction with me: weekly body doubling, weekly live group coaching, and monthly Doom Pile sessions. So my question is: Do I lock down my classroom and make it all premium? Do I continue to do what feels good to me? I don't know. I waver on this all the time.

Great question. I give away content to help coaches get results and move up the levels. They can access key content as they level up. Premium, to me, is where people get direct interaction with you. That’s the value because your support is limited and personal. I actually separate that even further and keep direct access under a VIP level. Your program helping people for free doesn’t take away from your value. It builds trust and lets people experience your work before deciding they want deeper support.
