Purple broccoli 💜, purple potatoes will flower?! Will be so cool to see! Is my garlic struggling? And got the rosemary in and took the pieces that were tou hing the ground! Smells so good 🥰 two lavender plants starting to show! And one beautiful peony 😍 my favourite! Theres so many in bloom along my work route i absolutely adore seeing so many in bloom and colours and patterns

@Vanessa Lowe oh it is! I haven't made it in years but it is truly scrumptious! Warm and tart and smooth and custardy with flakey pastry dusted with white sugar... 🥧

Twin Raspberries?
Harvesting some raspberries today and found an unusual 2-faced one. Anyone else seen similar?

I did some research and it said this may be the result of rapid changes in weather, cell damage or overwatering. I don't really water them too much so I am guessing it was either the really hot weather we got after tons of rain and/or pest pressure. They/it tasted wonderful this morning for my breakfast. :)

In case you ever wondered...
I do believe that snails have to drink water to survive. I watched these guys belly up to the lily pond so they could replenish themselves after a long hot day. I don't like them in the garden but it's ok with me if they hang with the tadpoles.

@Vanessa Lowe Oh, I did not know frogs eat snails. The frogs in my garden are Pacific Tree Frogs so they are not large but I guess they could help with the smaller ones. :)
