@Mike Gagnon There's no need to "reign yourself in" here. Sometimes naming the weight is the first step toward bearing it — and eventually, transforming it. You point to something profound: we are often conditioned, myself included, to give more voice to negative narratives than to positive ones. Yet, interestingly, in every corner of the earth, there are people who find contentment and live happily within their circumstances.
