Went Back to Freemium Model
I tried a two tiered paid model with a one-week free trial during August. It was a dismal FAIL. But I am really glad I did it. What I learned: 1. Traffic alone does not solve the issue. If they do not convert once they land on your page, nothing will save you. Had over 2500 in traffic and only 4 sign ups. I went from 15% conversion to .02% conversion. 2. I obviously had an offer problem. So I revamped it. A lot. Fingers crossed it lands better now. 3. My on-boarding needed fixing. I already did this once, but obviously not to the degree it needed. I now have a 5-Day Challenge for right when they start. Each day will take no more than 10 to 30 minutes (depending on the effort they put in) so there will be many wins right up front to get momentum going. Am filming the videos for each of these days today. 4. I took @Brenda Rigney advice and am now just offering a sliver of what I offer inside the free tier. A valuable sliver. But just a sliver. Before I gave away too much for free. My community is now designed around my 6-Step process and the Free tier offers Step 1. My hope is that this will motivate to convert to higher tiers in order to get all 6 steps. 5. The whole thing is a process, and I need to keep the faith. Trust me there have been times when I was ready to throw in the towel around all of it. What I offer is valuable though. Women are getting great results. Eventually, I will have it dialled in. Anyway, hope this helps someone else who is finding themselves floundering around, trying to dial it all in so it actually works.

@Cheri Baumann Roberts I wonder what the people who had paid thought when you went back to freemium? Any downside for them?

@Ola O my community will be similar to yours, and I’m curious about the engagement behavior as this community space may be somewhat foreign to this audience.
Made it to Level 7! 🥳 You can too!! 🙌🏻
Just saw that I made it to Level 7 after hoping off after watching @Demetrice Odds kick off Community to Cashflow with an amazing session. I've been in the community for around six months and there's so much goodness that @Brenda Rigney provides here from community and content to support and growth. If you stick around long enough you'll learn so much and make friends along the way! I'd love to see more people here with me!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🤩🤩 Also thought it was pretty cool that I saw my Level 7 at 9:07. ✨✨✨ 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻

Hi everyone! I'm Pamela, and I'm so happy to be here. By day, I help leaders and organizations navigate change, and I also teach leadership and entrepreneurship. I love the work I do, but it's only one part of who I am. I'm endlessly curious and probably ask more questions than I answer. I love meeting people from different backgrounds and hearing the stories that have shaped them. When I'm not working, you'll usually find me in my garden, sewing something new, recording my podcast, or chasing after my two little grandsons, who keep life fun and keep me humble. I'm a bit of a leadership geek (okay... more than a bit), but I'm equally fascinated by human behavior, personal growth, and those moments that completely change the direction of our lives. What I'm most excited about here is getting to know all of you ans to launch my SKOOL community. I'm looking forward to learning, sharing ideas, and being part of a community where people genuinely support one another. I hope to connect with many of you!
I never thought this was possible…
I can only think of a few truly phenomenal life moments that have happened to me… Like, seeing U2 in their Joshua Tree tour in Marseille when I was 17, raising two incredible daughters, or Coldplay at Wembley Stadium (that was last year…very kool!!) and now running my business fully on Skool from anywhere in the world. Like today. Woke up in Bruges. Went for a bike ride through the medieval city and will do a little work & connect with members from a co-working space in my hotel that was built in 1637. I remember 9 years ago sitting in my COO office of my corporate job, that I worked my arse off to get, two years away from turning 50, thinking is this all there is? This empty-nester, digital nomad, Skool community owner life is the best thing ever!! Skool literally fell into my lap two years ago. It’s been a long time since a platform, process or person has had such a profound impact on my life and business. I pinch myself that this is my life! Thanks Skool!! How has Skool shifted things in your life?

@Brenda Rigney Are you really riding a bike and filming yourself at the same time? That's very impressive! For two years, I was talking about what I envisioned as an online community of connection and learning, essentially expanding the work I've done in real life. Then I stumbled on SKOOL in April, and it's exactly what I was envisioning. There's no turning back! Thanks for the motivation.
