First camping trip
With the little guy! Looking forward to sleeping outside with my family. No service, no updates! What are you doing this weekend on planet earth?

@Chris Bost 🤣 too funny! It was a blast! He fought all his day time naps but still slept good at night. We got a little freaked out at one point that he might be too cold, but he was fine!
From Perfection to Progress: Why Taking Action Matters More Than Feeling Ready
One thing I’ve been realizing lately is that growth online whether in AI, business, content creation, or communities is usually less about chasing perfection and more about consistent iteration. A lot of people delay starting because they feel they need the perfect system, perfect skills, perfect audience, or perfect confidence first. But most real progress seems to happen when people are willing to build, learn, adjust, and improve while moving forward. Even many successful communities, creators, and projects started messy behind the scenes before eventually evolving into something strong over time. I think consistency, adaptability, and willingness to learn publicly are becoming underrated skills in today’s digital world. Curious what everyone here thinks:What’s one thing you’ve learned by actually taking action instead of waiting until you felt ā€œfully readyā€?

It is messy! As I sit here in my PJ’s, drinking coffee before work, catching up on all my notifications because I was out all weekend with my family. It’s far from perfect, but action has lead to learning more in the last 2 months than 8 years of thinking about starting did. For me it’s been little things, like how to pause when starting and needing a video so there’s more to work with when editing the clips together. How to make links on a phone. How to use the screen recording feature properly.
The Accountability Circle
Resilience multiples when you surround yourself with practitioners who refuse to settle for moderation. Who is one person in this community (or your network) whose consistency always pushes you to be more effective? Tag them and give them their flowers! šŸ’šŸ’Ŗ

Flail flop and fuddle if you will
This was supposed to be my first podcast! Now it’s just an image 🤣 Right after @Daniel Garza hopped on I found out you’re not able to record from the Google meet app on the iPhone. I thought I had a genius workaround of just using the built in screen record feature. But apparently screen record does not capture audio! So now I have an hour long video of two talking heads with no audio šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ‘šŸ¤£ Still had a great time connecting with Daniel though, learned a lot about why his community feels so free. He truly wants The Story Renaissance to be a place where people come to write, at all levels and in whatever style. If you enjoy writing on any level and would like to do it more check out his community!

State Management as a Tactical Asset
You cannot bring massive, determined energy to your work blocks if your biology is in a state of exhaustion or stress. State management is a strategic requirement. Create a simple 5-minute ritual to shift your energy before you open your laptop. Use music, movement, or positive visualization to move from a state of protection to a state of high-value creation. Reclaim your time by managing your state first.
