The hardest part of solo travel that no one talks about
Nobody told me the hardest part of solo travel is not the airport. It is the week before. That is when the doubts show up. What if something goes wrong? What if I hate it? What if I feel like the only person there who came alone? I have talked to hundreds of people over 45 who have been sitting on a trip for months. Sometimes years. And almost every single one says the same thing. "I just need to figure out a few more things first." Here is what I know after helping people actually get on the plane. You will never feel fully ready. But you will feel completely different on the other side. The people in this community have done it. They will tell you the same thing. So let me ask you this. What is the one thing that would have to be true before you would book the trip you keep thinking about? Drop it below. Let's solve it together. That is literally what this space is for. 👇 Drop your answer below. You might be surprised how many people here feel exactly the same way.

Not making connections on time or not knowing what is coming up next!! I've traveled as a single and organization is so important! Things like included costs, transfers, and what is included being communicated. I need to know the details of any trip I go on!!
Santa Fe | 4 Days | Fall 2026 — Here's the Sketch
@Julie Wagner asked about Santa Fe a while back and I promised her a sketch. Here it is cleaned up and ready to look at. 4 days. Relaxed pace. Walkable. Food, art, and one experience you won't find on your own. Full sketch here → [link] If it feels right, drop a comment or DM me. Dates TBD until I know who's actually interested.

A relaxed pace with walkable tours, that is what I'm interested in! I have a hip replacement and can't walk for long distances! Julie Wagner 💖

That sounds like the trip for me!! I'd like a lot of built-in excursions!!
Santa Fe keeps coming up…
So let me ask this directly: If I put together a small group trip to ... Santa Fe — relaxed pace, cultural experiences, good food… Who would actually consider going? Comment “SANTA FE” if you’d be open to it (or “QUESTION” if you’d want more details first)

I'd prefer structured easy walkable trip!
Seeing a few destinations come up consistently…
If I were to actually move forward with ONE small group trip first, which would you be more likely to go on? • Santa Fe • Charleston • Puerto Rico Comment one. If none say what would actually get you to go.

I like all of those things 😁! Slow/relaxed vibe, culture+art, food, and something different. I've traveled some and I'm looking for a great travel experience!!
