The Good, The Bad & The Wonky!
What are you working on? What have you finished? What’s failed? What’s gone wonky? What’s your best seller? Show us whatever you like! The good, the bad and the downright wonky. We love seeing it all! ❤️ I'll go first! This is a ring I made well over a year ago when I was first experimenting with my animal ring bands. I made it far too thin, and now it's developed a crack! So, today I'm going to attempt to fix it with a little silver clay paste. Fingers crossed! 🤞😂 Come on, let's see what you've been up to! ✨

@Jen Slough I'm dying to make myself a fidget ring 💍 but I'm terrified I'll just smash it to bits and make the wrong size. I might put copper and bronze as the fidgets and make the band in silver. I need to think about tools to knock the ring after it's fired to flare it. The tools are SO expensive x
New Animals :)
I've got some new animals cutters! I've asked on my Facebook page which one I should try first! I'm not going to lie, I'm dying to try my new fox! The Hamilton cutters are so lovely. They tend to be realistic animal shapes rather than stylised cartoony which appeals to me. The pink alpaca was a polymer clay Etsy find :) isn't he fab! I'm hoping to draw in my cousin who has retired and bought a field and filled it with a small herd of alpacas. She will happily advertise the jewellery I make to her audience. So hopefully I might generate some sales once I get started.

Also, my cousin saw my alpaca and said she's buy whatever I made with it lol. So that worked a treat lol x

@Tracey Bickle it's so lovely! I've got the matching texture mat. I've ordered some more from Hamiltons I'm waiting for them to arrive. She's going to bankrupt me lol xx
Stage one of my plan for my Cutting Clay oak leaf cutters
When I bought my 1st ever Metal Clay kit it came with some 2 part silicone compound. It's sat in it's box for 9 months and yesterday I finally put it to use! I asked ai to read it's Japanese instructions (after I mixed it 🤦🏼) to discover it has a 1 min 45 second work time! I rolled it flat then rolled the leaves in. Pretty happy with the results, even though I'm wondering if I should have done vein side UP not down? For my plans, I'm hoping it will work as I plan to layer things on top of the leaf. Anyway, the oak leaf detail looks amazing! Will be rolling copper clay into this very soon! I shall report back. :) Happy making!
