I am currently coaching both middle school and high school with the opportunity to coach high school full time next season. I am hoping to be a sponge for everything this community has to offer. Even as a young coach, I feel I have a good handle on game prep and adapting in game as well as player development and player relationships. The area I need to improve on the most in my mind is team practice overall. Getting the most out of practice. What that blend is between skill work and team work. How do we generate engaged and intense practices on a regular basis? And, to answer a question from an earlier thread, if I were to give a coaching clinic it would probably be the importance of having/developing a smart, strategic, and impactful screener and the benefit it has on your offense.
