But how do I know what interest rate I should input into the calculator? • Where do I get this information from? • Is there a source or website you use? • Do I make an educated guess, or is there a benchmark or tool I should be referencing? Hi, introducing myself as a new member to the group. I’m excited to share and learn with others interested in real estate development. I live in Charlottetown PE for the past 3 years, and previously in Saskatoon for 10 years. I’ve worked my whole life in construction as a carpenter and project manager for residential, commercial and institutional projects. I’ve mostly been employed by larger general contractors and realestate developers. A year ago I left my full time job and started a small general contracting company working on small carpentry jobs. What I hope to learn from this group is how to evaluate and present deals to investment partners.
