Today’s CYC meeting was so lit. 🔥
Being a part of this community continues to push me to share my story, resources & how I can help others be their best! I am so grateful for the momentum and energy that pours into me from our community and time together sharing stories and more! Part of my journey is me sharing how I can help others so as soon as I jumped off of our CYC meeting I jumped onto canva to create a simple flyer for my nutrition coaching that I’ve been holding off on (why …because I’ve been doubting myself! And sharing about this next part) No more of that! I know what I have to offer! So I’m sharing with the group for anyone who might want to chat more about it, or if you know of others that might benefit from it feel free to share! 🐬🐬🐬✨ more so than that I’m sharing for my own accountability! Chooseday Recap 9/23
🌱 Today’s session with Evie was equal parts wisdom, science, and the kind of truths most people are too shy to say out loud. That’s why we loved it. 💫She took us through the heavy stuff : grief, menopause, and recovery. We discussed how awareness of our hormones and health can actually free us. We learned why muscle is medicine as we age, protecting metabolism and keeping us strong. 🥤 As a certified juice therapist, she broke down gut health and why colon care matters more than we admit. We even talked coffee enemas because sometimes the most uncomfortable conversations are the ones that clean us out (literally) 💊 We’re som things Borderline TMI for a self loser? Maybe. But for self choosers we want to know as much as we can about our health! 🐬 At the heart of it, today was about awareness: what we put in, what we flush out, and what systems we need to protect. Gut, hormones, muscle, colon : the unglamorous truths that actually determine how long and how well we thrive. Momentum Mondays
🔥 Mondays aren’t just the start of the week.. they’re the momentum builders! 🚀The same way a rocket uses most of its fuel just to break through the atmosphere, we use most of our energy on Mondays to break through resistance. Once we get lift-off, the rest of the week runs smoother. 🧠 Studies show that what we do on Monday sets a “cognitive anchor” for our habits the next six days. If we start sloppy, our brain normalizes sloppy. If we start structured, our brain expects structuctute. 😂 Hit the snooze on Monday and suddenly Tuesday feels like a sequel nobody asked for. When we show up on Monday with intention, Tuesday through Sunday start playing follow-the-leader. 🐬 That’s why tomorrow matters. Can’t wait to be off from work and join you guys live tomorrow 🐬🐬 I started my week with my usual personal development and stretching for my mind and body. Later will be my workout to make sure my 80 year old self has nothing but an enjoyable & vibrant life.

I created these foundation boards for my girls to help set them on the right track. At first, it was really just about building consistency around the basics: health, prayer, gratitude, routines, and self-care. Over time, these simple daily habits became our anchors. Of course, every day brings its own adjustments, and I remind them often to stay flexible. Life doesn’t always follow the plan perfectly, but having this foundation in place really saves the day. These routines give us structure, balance, and a sense of purpose we can always come back to.I’m proud of how they’ve embraced this, and even more grateful for how it’s shaping not just their days, but their character and mindset.

This isn’t about restriction. It’s about freedom. For the next 30 days we’re proving that our discipline belongs to our purpose, not our poison. For 30 days we cut out: 🚫 Sugar 🚫 Liquor 🚫 Weed 🚫 Nicotine 🚫 Porn 🚫caffeine 🚫video games 🚫gambling 🚫gluten 🚫 Instant dopamine (mindless scrolling, junk food, cheap escapes) And for 30 days we lock in: 💧 Hydration 🏋🏽 Movement 🌱 Clean eating 😴 Solid sleep 📖 Reflection & journaling 🐬 Foundations that keep us consistent 🧠 Science says dopamine pathways for sugar, nicotine, alcohol, and screens light up just like hard drugs. That means most of us have already been disciplined… just in the wrong direction. The Challenge is about flipping that same loyalty toward our growth. ⚡ This is where confidence is built. This is where clarity comes back. This is where we find out who we are without the crutches. 🐬 Zoom check-ins: - Monday 6PM EST (CYC KIDS) - Tuesday @ 10 a.m. (CYC Tuesday) - Tuesday @ 7 p.m. (Challenge Check-In) 💬 What’s the first craving you’re ready to flip into confidence?
