Hi everyone! I'm just kicking off my journey toward earning my PMP and recently enrolled in Andrew's PMP Exam Prep course. My goal is to take (and pass!) the exam before the end of the year, but I'm trying to be realistic about my timeline. I work full-time, serve on a nonprofit board, and have plenty of personal commitments, so I'd rather build a sustainable study plan than burn myself out trying to cram. For those of you who have been through the process, what helped you stay consistent? Are there any "wish I knew this sooner" tips, common pitfalls to avoid, or study strategies you'd recommend for someone balancing a busy schedule? Looking forward to learning from all of you!

I am excited to share that I passed my exam on 6/30 with AT/T/AT on the first try!!! 🤩 I’m still kind of in disbelief. The vast majority of my career has been in HR & Talent; so I don’t have the traditional PM background and no formal training. Last year, I took an in-person prep class at a local college to have some training. But doubted that my application would even be approved, so I procrastinated for 10 months before submitting it (and of course was selected for audit 🫠, further fueling my doubts). It was approved and there was no turning back. Was I incredibly nervous up until test time? Yes! Did I doubt myself throughout the exam, questioning if I was going crazy with some of the answer choices? Yes! Did I pray constantly during the exam? You bet! Do I regret this journey at all? Not even a little bit! All of Andrew’s materials, esp. the Cram Course and Mindset Video, were an invaluable resource in helping refresh my memory from a year ago, breaking things down in an understandable way, and taking on the PMI/PMP Mindset. @Andrew Ramdayal You are a special person, with a gift that you graciously share with the world.
