🌟 This Week’s Core Value: Authenticity! 🌟
Hey, amazing humans! It's that time of the week where we dive deep into our core value treasure chest and pull out a gem that's going to sparkle our path ahead. This week, we're all about AUTHENTICITY! What’s Authenticity Really About? Authenticity is about being your you-iest version of you. It’s about aligning your actions so tightly with your beliefs, that you couldn’t possibly get lost in someone else’s expectations or societal blueprints. Your Mission: I want each of you to reflect on where in your life you need to turn up the dial on authenticity. Which parts of your daily routine feel more like you’re playing a part rather than living your truth? Are you saying YES when you desperately want to say NO? Are you hiding your quirkiest, most endearing qualities because you think they’re not ACCEPTABLE? Create Your Authenticity Statements: Write some powerful "I am and so I do" statements. Brainstorm how to fill in this blank: "I am authentic, and so I _______." Fill in the blank with a habit or action you commit to adopting this week that reflects your true self. Here’s a couple to get your creative juices flowing: - "I am authentic, and so I speak my mind kindly and fearlessly in meetings, even when my voice shakes." - "I am authentic, and so I choose to wear what feels good on my body and soul, not what fashion dictates." Share Your Statements: Drop your authenticity statements in the comments. Let’s inspire each other with the unique ways we’re choosing to live our truest lives. Who knows, your statement might just be the nudge someone else needs to make a similar brave choice! Let’s support each other in being the most authentic versions of ourselves. Because remember, life's too short for anything less! 🌈💥 xo, Karen

Authenticity is FREEDOM. It is being free from the need of the approval of others, the world. So I can interchange the words authenticity and freedom. - "I am authentic/free and so I ask kindly for what I want from others: help, support, perspective, advice, care, love, attention..." - "I am authentic/free and so I don't feel guilty if I disappoint others when I prioritize my health and mental health."

@Yazminh Joy I understand what you're saying. What I say doesn't mean that you are friends with or hang out with people who are harmful. It just means that you have compassion for them because they're ignorant of their delusions and because there are creating a lot of unhappiness and bad karma for themselves. All of us every time we have done something that has harmed others we have created suffering and unhappiness for ourselves. But we need to forgive and have compassion for ourselves because when we were harming others we were being ignorant. The same with other people. All of us deserve the same compassion. Does it make sense?

@Yazminh Joy Yes, of course, I go to visit family there. I went last summer and I also want to Portugal. I'd happy to share some tips with you when you decide to go 💛💛

@Elizabeth McGuire Hi, Elisabeth! Of course! Thank you for your idea to refer families to each other. You're so generous for reaching out 😊
Why you should write that book, make that artwork, create that song
If there’s something creative inside you—a book, a painting, a song—just get it out there. Forget about going viral or getting awards. Who cares? Do it because it's something you need to do for yourself. Not for the world. You're creating for you. And that's not some bullshit consolation prize. It's the whole point. Most people have it backwards. They think external validation is the goal. But your creative work isn't valuable because others applaud it. It's valuable because it transforms you. When you pour your thoughts, emotions, and perspectives into something tangible, you're essentially having a conversation with yourself. And that conversation is necessary for your psychological well-being. It's how you process trauma, understand your experiences, and make sense of our existence. Creating is a form of self-therapy It helps you to strengthen your inner voice, confront your demons, and build resilience through expression. The act of creation changes your brain chemistry. It helps you process emotions, gain clarity, and find meaning. These are valuable outcomes regardless of whether anyone else ever experiences your work. And here's the ironic twist: When you create primarily for yourself—with honesty, vulnerability, and zero f*cks given about external approval—you often end up making something that resonates with others anyway. Not because you tried to please people, but because authentic expression has a way of connecting with other humans who share your struggles. So if someone happens to connect with your work, that's awesome—a bonus round in the game of life. But don't make that your metric for success. That's putting your self-worth in the hands of strangers who are just as confused about life as you are. Create because you need to. Create because it helps you make sense of your existence. Create because it makes you feel alive in a world designed to numb you. That's enough of a reason. That's always been enough of a reason. The world might not need your art.

I Will Always Love You
Hi everyone! Karen's question asking us if there is something creative inside us sparked a memory for me! I am someone who never believed I had any creativity in me - until something changed in my understanding of myself and then I was able to tap into my creativity. With Karen's permission, I would like to share a 4 minute video of a story about hope and love in the midst of grief. If you are interested, please take a peek. The illustrations and messages are intended for the child in each of us. I am sharing with you with the intention of healing only - meaning - the last few seconds of the video are not meant for our group. 💗 Video Link: https://1drv.ms/v/s!Auj1S1woTEAZi5pm5m3G8PEB1gLELw?e=m60DhS
