Book to Read
Good Morning. Looking for Book recommendations to add to my collection. I'm currently reading 90 minutes in Heaven by Don Piper and it's so hard to put down. Who is your Favorite Author or what book do you think I just MUST read?

šŸš¶ā€ā™€ļø Walking in Faith
ā€œFor we walk by faith, not by sight.ā€ – 2 Corinthians 5:7 Faith isn’t just what we believe—it’s how we move through life. It’s trusting God when the answers aren’t clear. It’s taking the next step even when the path is uncertain. It’s choosing obedience over comfort, peace over panic, and His Word over our feelings. šŸ’¬ Today’s Prompt: How are you walking in faith today? Is there an area where you’ve had to let go and trust Him more? Are you facing something unknown but choosing to move forward anyway? Let’s encourage one another with real stories of faith in action. Your journey can help someone else take their next step. šŸ‘‡ Share your ā€œwalk by faithā€ moment today—big or small.

I am walking in faith by reminding myself that even though things are not as I need them to be right now, God has not forgotten me, and he does everything for a reason even if I do not understand those reasons. My husband lost his job at the beginning of March and after hundreds of applications and several interviews, there has still not been any job offers. Even after major cutbacks my income alone does not cover everything. We have officially missed our first mortgage payment, and I will admit that I am scared. I ask that everyone please pray for our situation.
🌿 Thankful & Thriving!
Because gratitude isn’t just a feeling—it’s a lifestyle that fuels growth. When we stop and say, ā€œGod, thank You,ā€ we shift the atmosphere. šŸ’„ Anxiety turns to peace. šŸ’› Frustration turns into contentment. šŸ”„ Survival turns into thriving. šŸ’¬ Let’s make this fun today! Drop 3 things you're thankful for in the moment ✨ Then tell us: What’s one way you’ve seen yourself thriving in this season—spiritually, emotionally, relationally, or even just making it through the day with joy? ā€œGive thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.ā€ – 1 Thessalonians 5:18 We’re building a wall of gratitude today—one comment at a time!šŸ‘‡ Jump in below and let the thankfulness overflow!

I am thankful for my job. I am thankful for my health. I am thankful for my God.
Laughter is holy. Smiling is contagious.
Joy is our birthright in Christ. ā€œA cheerful heart is good medicineā€¦ā€ – Proverbs 17:22 Sometimes, the best way to feel God’s presence is in a full-belly laugh or a goofy moment that reminds you—you’re loved, you’re human, and it’s okay to have fun. šŸ’¬ Community Prompt: What’s made you laugh the most lately? šŸ˜‚ A silly church moment? šŸ“ŗ A clean comedy video? 🐶 Your pet acting like a lunatic? šŸ‘§ A hilarious comment from your kid? Let’s light up this thread with joy and clean fun. šŸ‘‡ Drop your favorite funny moment, meme, or a one-liner that made you laugh recently! Because when we smile together—we reflect the joy of the Lord.

My elderly dog who is much too smart for his own good but wants me to think that he's deaf in his old age but if I whisper the word cookie, he can hear me from a mile away! I love this prompt... I am a firm believer that you should always offer up a smile even when you aren't feeling it for you never know what the other persons struggles are. Sometimes your smile is all they need to change their path for the day
šŸš¶ā€ā™€ļøWalking in Faith: When Silence Meets Obedience
One of the hardest parts of the Christian journey is this: What do you do when Heaven feels quiet? You’ve prayed. You've Believed. You've fasted, journaled, and pressed in. And then…Silence. Not just a quiet room—but a quiet heart, filled with unanswered questions and growing uncertainty. And yet—God is working. Always. Some of the most powerful moves of God don’t happen in the moment of breakthrough…They begin in the waiting. ✨ Where Waiting Becomes Holy Ground The Bible is filled with seasons of pause—of preparation: - 🐪 Abraham waited 25 years for Isaac after God promised him a son (Genesis 21). - šŸ‘‘ David was anointed king in his youth, yet didn’t take the throne until years later (2 Samuel 5). - šŸ™ Hannah waited in tears for her miracle baby, Samuel (1 Samuel 1). - šŸ’” Jesus waited in the wilderness—tempted, tried—before launching into ministry. The wait wasn’t easy. But the wait wasn’t wasted. It was the crucible where trust was forged and faith grew deep. But it wasn’t just an answered prayer—it was the fruit of a faith that had been anchored and refined. šŸ’¬ How Do We Wait Well? In a world obsessed with speed, faith says: ā€œEven now, I will trust.ā€ ā€œEven when I don’t see it, I believe He’s working.ā€ ā€œEven when it’s silent, He is still speaking.ā€ šŸ•Šļø Scripture to Hold in the Silence - ā€œBut those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strengthā€¦ā€ – Isaiah 40:31 - ā€œThe Lord is good to those who wait for Himā€¦ā€ – Lamentations 3:25 - ā€œIt is good that one should hope and wait quietlyā€¦ā€ – Lamentations 3:26 - ā€œRest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him.ā€ – Psalm 37:7 - ā€œLet us not grow weary while doing good, for in due seasonā€¦ā€ – Galatians 6:9 šŸ™Œ Advanced Faith: Praising Before the Win Faith isn't just believing after you see. It's worshiping before the answer. šŸ› Spend time in worship this week—not just declaring who God is, but thanking Him in advance. Open your heart in song. Soak in Scripture. Speak truth over yourself and others.
