@Steffani Gentry I think you are confusing the word energy - you can still have a calm vibe and slower cadence with more energy. I was not referring to your voice but rather your energy - as when I watched a few of your videos I did not sense the energy from you. A clip-on mic especially those connected with blue tooth has great audio quality plus you can easily use your editing program to adjust the audio.

How many videos to start with
Hey ya'll. I have an existing channel, but I am going to start a new and totally different one in a new niche. I haven't found a lot of resources for how many video's to start with. Some say start with multiple so YT has more data for your niche. Then I have heard where if you have more than one, that viewers may get off to soon and YT will give you negative marks. What's ya'lls opinion including Alexa's. Anyone had success with multiple vids to start and if so how many? Dropped at once or scheduled over how long a period of time?

Are you still keeping your hiking channel with over 20k subscribers? Dropping 2-5 videos so people can binge on your content - then choose when to post weekly bi weekly monthly etc.

The best way to.learn is to watch online videos & to know the editing platforms interface. Give yourself patience and time. At first editing a 8 min video might take hours but as you learn it should get better. Best to you. Always enjoy the process. Happiest New Year to you. š„³š¤

Feedback on YouTube Banner
Hello everyone! I updated my YouTube Banner based on the advice from Alexa in her Day 3 video. My banner was pretty bland before today. I would link some other opinions. Is it professional? Is the purpose of my channel clear? I am a math teacher and I create videos on lessons and advice/tips for math for students. It is also geared towards parents so they can help their child at home. @Shekinah Burton - your banner is very busy - - when I first saw your channel, I thought it was a design channel. On my mobile phone I can't see the words, because your background does not pop. Why doesn't your banner, match your colorful thumbnails?
