Upsell technique
Today I ordered a coffee at Starbucks and usually they just ask, anything else but this time the lady asked if I wanted a blueberry muffin with it and I wasn’t even planning on buying one but I said yeah sure. made me realize for upselling don’t just ask customers, anything else? Mention the other appliances specifically like, how’s the fridge working? or is your dryer drying the close properly, because people usually don’t think about it until you bring it up

the only problem i have with upsells is, it takes time to do the job and you havnt scheduled for it.. do you come back for that, or how do you deal with that

Hi @Ray Hagler I tracked my AOV this past week and its $317 USD, pretty good. but I only did 8 jobs I'm spending about $40/day, 1200/month on marketing (facebook ads) I don't have a CSR.. I don't have a Google Business.. I'm only marketing on facebook, because Alex Hormozi says to stick to one platform until you reach 100k a month.. also i have 60+ reviews on facebook, what would you advise my next step to be considering my AOV is pretty good.

well currently doing what Hormuz says to do,, 4 hours of advertising, i make content and run them as ads and content.. but i have a question, Alex says to choose one platform and advertise on there until you hit 100k a month.. is that what you did as well

What radius should I set my service area to?
Hey @Ray Hagler, how far do you think i should go to.. I live in Vancouver.. and I'm running calls up to a 15 mile radius, but Vancouver is pretty dense..

I asked chatgpt,, and it said "to hit 5-6 jobs with in 8 hours, even vancouver itself is too big.. i'll have to pick one zone with in just vancouver.. I guess i have been doing this wrong the whole time.. my drive time from one job to the other is usually 40 min to an hour

@Ray Hagler how do we deal with situations where the appliance has no problem,, but diagnosing takes you longer to insure there is no problem.. do you just charge the 95

oh, so how much would you charge for a drain unclog for a washer that is clogged.. emptying the water and unclogging usually takes me 45 to 75 minutes.. i charged the customer 280 for it.. do you think thats fair..
