Struggling to explain what your Skool is actually about? Drop your current About page headline / first line below and I’ll tell you: 1. Is it clear WHO it’s for? 2. Is the outcome SPECIFIC enough? 3. Would I keep reading? Your first line needs to answer: “Is this for me, and why should I even care?” If it doesn’t do that quickly, people click away before they even see what's INSIDE your community.

Become a certified Sourdough Practitioner in 3 Months

@Elise Hodge Thanks. For home bakers it is a form of validation for their efforts to improve their baking. We currently have 6 certified at the Rising Sourdough Baker level and 7 at the Sourdough Practitioner level. For small cottage bakers, it can also be a differentiator they can use when engaging with customers. It is based on an objective measure of quality and consistency using my BreadScore visual analysis tool + community engagement. (29% of community members are at level 4 or higher and climbing.)
Doing something for me?
Ok so I guess I’ve got to start something by myself soon ….. I will need some input from everyone though. I’m no longer an expert on anything! The only thing that I am passionate about is (apart from trying to help my kids) is to stay alive as long as possible. I’ve got to that age where I’ve already lost a few friends and acquaintances and lots of heroes too! So im going to bash out a few ideas in various groups including this one! I hope that you will all pitch in with ideas and suggestions . It will all be done on the$9 hobby plan, will be free but accept donations somehow. Hope this is ok with everyone?

@Stew Holland I think this is fantastic! Please keep me updated. There's definitely a place for your very own ripple in still water here ❤️

Spring has Sprung?
I was listening to my fave podcast about Skool yesterday and was reminded that it was the first day of spring! So here’s a little song that hopefully will cheer everyone up - if you need it that is! https://youtu.be/l8JO_4NEKTo?is=L4-jF0vh_idRVUPn

@Stew Holland This is a good one! He's so talented. It has a little acoustic Richard Thompson vibe to my untrained ear 😀

@Anna Sabino I believe the engagement card at the top shows members that have been active at any point in the past 30 days. So it could have been minimal activity a month ago and still counts as active. If you toggle the Active Members chart to show Daily Active you get a much better since of what activity looks like on a day to day basis. If you hover over each day you see the # of active members and the % active of total members on that day. You can look at weekly active as well. Hope that helps! I included a screen shot below.

@Anna Sabino Fair point. Have you seen a definition of what counts as an activity? I thought there was a definitions pop-up pre-redesign but don't see that now. Is lurking an activity lol?
