Stop With The Goals
And just do ONE thing. If you’re like me and simply have a hard time just getting past the starting line, try simply doing one thing—just that, no strings attached. I’d love to say the momentum behind it can get you going, but the truth is, there’s no guarantee. But even if it doesn’t, you can still say you did that one thing. Progress is progress. Don’t fall into the trap of not being good enough for your own goals. Lower them. Meet yourself. Goals aren’t meant for us to jump up and prance after—they’re meant to meet us where we are and offer a helping hand. Don’t forget that. And don’t forget that everyone is living this life for the first time, and each of us has our own path to follow. Stop peering through the gaps in the trees or trying to catch up through a desire line. Your path is just ahead. Screw everyone else—and just do one thing.

@Bryce Ernst yes.. I’m not going to lower my goals to meet me where I am today. I will level myself up to get there. But that big goal may seem completely unachievable, so I’ll break it down into small goals that will keep me moving forward towards where I wanna be. Maybe that’s what Serina meant. To act today or tomorrow, we need goals that are tangible, and realistic. To me personally, without those big goals I would have no clue what I’m working towards or the why behind my actions.
Zoom meeting? Would you show?
If I were to host a zoom meeting, would you come? What would you want to talk about? How would you like it structured? What days and times work best for you? I, like most, joined this community because we seek not just instruction, guidance, or connection, but environment, and it is not lacking, but I'd love to see some more talking within the group especially through a zoom setting, even if it's just a how is your day. We are surrounded by like-minded individuals let's start hearing from them. So, let me know what you think, answer the questions above, and let's see what we can do about it.

I would totally join. I would love to see more community meetings! Maybe a weekly check in.. we share our goals for the week, hold each other accountable, and discuss what went wrong/what went right as we worked towards our goals that week.
Traveling again
I am on a journey to lose 50 lbs by Christmas. I lost 20 lbs earlier this year (after joining this community 🙂). I had an international trip in May which completely threw me off track and I gained 10 lbs. I am flying out for another trip today. This time, I’ll push myself to stay on track. I’ll hit the gym every morning, and stick to my diet plan for all my meals but dinner. For dinner, I’ll have Swedish meatballs or any other protein heavy meal. This morning I weighed: 244.9 lbs. When I’m back on July 3rd, I’ll weigh less. No solid target this time. I’ll stick to my plan and post an update. I hope you’re well and winning your battles ❤️

Video Idea
I want to create a raw and unfiltered video that expresses my feelings and shares the struggles I've faced throughout my life. I feel like the only problem is my lack of confidence. I often stutter, am unsure of what to say next, and mix up my words. What can I do to be more confident and create a good video that helps people understand where I'm coming from? I've held it in me for long enough. I have to let it out, now.

you said you wanna create a raw unfiltered video. Do just that, if you worry too much about what to change it won’t be too “raw” 😉 Keep at it and you’ll get better!
Hello again!
I’m back! I’ve been gone for a little over a month and man, I fell out of it—was the least productive I’ve been in a long time! Had a lot of issues in my life, went through a slightly traumatic event, and then went to Florida for a week. On top of that, I started 13 credits for the summer and I’m currently failing a class. I just let it slip and stopped being there for myself—and even a couple others. I also had to quit/get fired because my physical health left me unable to get out the door, and my boss said I either come in or never again. (It’s okay though—I’ve been told that favoritism runs deep and that other people just straight up don’t show up multiple days and still stay on staff. So I’ve found peace with it, and I value my health and want a workplace that does the same.) But I’m glad to say I’ve been getting there. I’ve got a general schedule down—still not quite in writing yet—but I’m staying active, working on fixing my diet, and getting back in the loop. This community and journey are so immensely important to me and my growth, and even though I fell off for a bit, I’m glad that both my life and my mindset are leading me back to the things I need.
