Fusion D'issey Extreme proved to be a deeper, richer, smoother, woodier version of the original Fusion D'issey. Less of the Coconut Vodka opening and more of the heavily woody drydown. Moments with soft powdery touches during the midpoint. Overall, I find the Original more interesting than the Extreme but expect a layering combo of the two to be an ideal fit. There were more ladies available to judge the scent today but the scores themselves were lower in comparison to the original worn yesterday. Would I recommend? Of course. I broke down and placed on order. It’s just a discovery set but still failed #nobuysept. I ordered the Day Three discovery set that’s been recommended by @Ben E and @Lon Chaneyfield. Really looking forward to testing them out and then buying a full bottle.

This one is a clone of Bvlgari Falkar. Guys, I’m stunned! 🤣 I wear a different fragrance every single day of my life (al types of them), and I don’t remember when was the last time my Mom told me “Mmm that one smells good” 😳😧😵😱🤣 None in a million years I would expect my Mom to say that about this fragrance. I both this fragrance heavenly discounted, I guess they were liquidating it because is not too popular. This is a niche fragrance, not the common modern hyped one. I’m sure that every single person who ask to smell a sample of it in a store will reject it immediately. If you only smell the atomizer without spraying it, you probably will avoid spraying it. The most noticeable note you will get even just sniffing the atomizer is a medicinal Oud, slightly animalistic nuanced. BUT… as you hit the first spray, you will be kicked with a very fresh, sweet/fruity (passion fruit like), spicy, aromatic, leathery and Oud scent. The medicinal Oud nuance starts to fade away and after an hour will be a behind the scene note. The dry down is incredibly delicious, bringing to light some woodiness while keeping a delightful sweetness and spiciness resembling an aromatic incense without burning that smells pretty unique. This is one of this fragrances you need to give an opportunity to develop while testing it on skin. Projection and longevity are great. If you like niche fragrances, you have to check it out.

First time wearing this one. So far it's clearly the same dna as yesterday but with a smoother, fresher, more subtle opening. The mint and lavender combo in the dry down seems to soften it even more given the powdery touch. All in all the fragrance is still a wood dominated scent and strangely enough causes a bit of nose blindness straight away. It's clearly a more potent formula but comes across far lighter than the standard version within a few minutes. My wife called me Mr Woody on her way out, I told her to never say that in public openly, people might get the wrong impression, especially first thing in the morning. She didn't get it, innocence is such a wonderful thing. 🤦 Do I like the fragrance? I haven't decided yet. It's less interesting than yesterday's scent but easier to wear. Again, it's one of those that'll likely grow on me after awhile. Let's see how the ladies feel.
