Personalized AI
Does anyone have recommendations for tools to use for a personalized AI assistant? By which I mean that the data remains your own. It could be notes you have taken over the years, standard operating procedures, customer interactions, whatever. But the key thing is that it is your own and is not shared (as it would be with ChatGPT). For example, I have collected a huge amount of information in Evernote and documents over the years, and it would be nice to treat that as a knowledge base.

My recommendation would be to install https://ollama.com/ on your desktop. This allows you to download a wide range of models that work with your PC hardware. Interactions with local models aren't shared with anyone else, and it doesn't require an internet connection to work. Once that's set up, you can use https://openwebui.com/. This provides a ChatGPT-style chat experience and can be configured to use your locally installed Ollama models. It's open source and doesn't need internet to function. You can upload documents and ask the models to respond based on the content. If you want to automate local AI interactions, I would recommend installing https://docs.n8n.io/hosting/. With the above, you'll have everything running locally.
Prompt and memory injection, content poisoning, and safety bypasses
Both users and vendors should remain vigilant, as attackers are increasingly finding new ways to exploit these systems for data exfiltration and manipulation. https://thehackernews.com/2025/11/researchers-find-chatgpt.html
Will the Cost of AI Increase?
Today I had a brilliant question - will ChatGPT start to raise it prices and, if so, how much would you be prepared to pay. Most businesses are using the the £20 Plus, with the next tier being £200 - how far would you go before jumping ship?

I feel like raising the entry-level price will keep a lot of people out. AI services really need tons of users to get better. It’d be great to see more pricing options between $20 and $200.
