🏡 We’re home and picked up the furs this morning. 🐾 🐶 Troy was in the kennel nearest the entrance so he saw us as soon as we’d parked up and started walking up the steps and was going crazy before we’d so much as set a foot inside. ⭐️ Overall score for these kennels has got to be 5 star! Along with daily photos and videos and reassuring messages, there’s the information when we picked them up, that confirmed they’d genuinely taken notice. 💩💨 Such as for the first few days Troy had a sensitive belly - he is a sensitive dog and little changes affect him so I wasn’t over surprised. They said they’d given him the good for guts powder, and increased dosage for “upset belly” rather than “maintain” during that time. And suggested I weighed him when I brought him home in case he’d lost weight. (He actually looks fine!) 🐩🐕🦺🦮🐕 They said they’d given Tia the opportunity to play with other dogs which she usually loves, but she’d been happier just being around Troy, so they’d kept them together outside. 🌾🎾 They were laughing when they told us about Troy’s exploits, explaining why they’d had to leave the long line on him outside because when they’d taken him out to play in the field, he’d been out there for two hours because he’d refused to come back - play bowing and running away if anyone tried to approach him. 😅🤪 They’d tried everything - even taking Tia in and bringing her back out to entice him in, but he was having too much fun (I can imagine! 😂). So after that he was only ever let out with a long line on. 🛁🫧 They don’t bathe the dogs before they come home, BUT - and here is the really amazing thing - neither Tia nor Troy came out with that “kennel smell” on them, they just smelled like them ❤️ Overall I’m very happy we’ve found an excellent kennelling facility near to us. I’d use them again and recommend them too! 🛏️ - oh - and apparently persistence DOES pay off. Tia FINALLY consented to using a raised bed! Today, since we brought them home they’ve just been sleeping.
