Yes — for the way Kyle teaches the zones, I’d keep the premarket/extended-hours data ON when you’re doing your analysis. The course specifically uses one-hour supply/demand zones along with daily and overnight session highs/lows as higher-timeframe points of interest. Kyle also describes doing the morning plan around 8:00 a.m. ET, before the 9:30 open, which means the overnight/premarket information is part of the picture he’s evaluating. So the simple rule I’d use is: premarket ON → draw your zones → keep that setting consistent when practicing/reviewing. The zones are plan areas based on evidence of buying/selling, and they stay valid until price actually moves through/invalidate them.

I personally find the morning session (9:30 AM–11:30 AM ET) tends to offer the best combination of volume, liquidity, and price movement for day trading. The market open brings in a lot of activity as traders and institutions react to overnight price action, economic news, pre-market levels, and the opening of the U.S. cash session. That increased participation can create some of the strongest and cleanest moves of the day. As we move into the afternoon, volume and volatility often begin to slow down, and price action can become more choppy or range-bound. Activity may then pick back up during Power Hour and heading into the market close as traders and institutions reposition before the end of the session. That's one of the reasons I personally prefer trading the morning session. I'd rather focus on a smaller window when the market is generally more active than feel like I need to sit in front of the charts all day waiting for another opportunity.

That is not actually an error. From your screenshot, it looks like you created an Alert for when price entered the rectangle you drew on your chart. Price eventually entered that rectangle, which triggered the Alert. Once the Alert was triggered and its condition was satisfied, TradingView marked that Alert as "outdated." So the "stopped – drawing outdated" message isn't telling you that there's something wrong with your supply/demand zone or drawing. It's referring to the status of the Alert you created for that drawing.

That's interesting, Seth. I've personally never encountered this issue with TradingView/Tradovate. I'd start by making sure your internet connection is strong and stable—none of that bargain-bin Wi-Fi! 😂 A 5–10 second delay definitely isn't normal. If your connection checks out, I'd also try logging directly into Tradovate and placing a trade there to see if you experience the same delay. That could help narrow down whether the issue is with TradingView, Tradovate, or the connection between the two.
