It’s Been a While — Let’s Check In 🤍
Hi ladies, It’s been a little while since I’ve actively been here, and I want to share why. Maybe some of you can relate. This past year, I intentionally took a step back to focus on what truly makes me happy at this stage of life — after decades of being in full-time mom mode, building businesses, and putting everyone else first. I needed space to pause, listen inward, and recalibrate. Along the way, the term “empty nester” — and everything it seemed to imply — began to feel wrong to me. I was tired of carrying sadness and loneliness that didn’t feel like they belonged in this chapter. I began to wonder whether those feelings were truly mine, or if they had been quietly shaped by societal expectations. As we all recognize, the transition from being a full-time MOM to a mom of grown kids can be surprisingly challenging. Even when our kids are thriving, something shifts inside us — our rhythm, our identity, our sense of purpose. And it’s not something we prepare for or talk about enough. I still believe that talking through these changes together, in community, can make a difference. I’d love to host a Zoom call soon to: • Check in and see how everyone is really doing • Talk about what progress you’re noticing • Share what still feels missing or unclear • Explore what kind of community and connection would feel most supportive right now I still very much intend to create and grow this community — for anyone who feels called to it — and this feels like a beautiful place to reconnect and see where we go next, together. If you’d like to join the call, please comment YES below - respond to the poll - and let me know what days/times generally work for you. So glad you’re here 🤍 Let’s make things happen.

You Don’t Need a Valentine or a Galentine to Belong 💖
Step out of your comfort zone and attend the Newbury Street Galentine's Day Stroll on Sunday, February 15, 2026 | 12–4PM | Newbury Street in Boston, MA If you’re feeling a little light on the Galentine’s side of things this year — craving connection when no friends are free — you are not alone. And more importantly, you are more than welcome. The In Full Force community is inviting you to step out just as you are and join us for the 1st Annual Newbury Street Galentine’s Day Stroll — whether you come with friends, with a valentine, or entirely on your own. This event is literally FOR YOU! This winter has been long. The cold, the snow, the shorter days — they have a way of quietly isolating even the most independent among us. Add Valentine’s Day to the mix, and it can stir feelings of longing for connection, friendship, and companionship that may feel just out of reach. That’s exactly why this afternoon exists. On Sunday, February 15, 2026, from 12–4 PM, one of Boston’s most iconic streets — Newbury Street — will come alive with friendship, fashion, warmth, and purpose. The Galentine’s Day Stroll is designed as a soft landing place: a welcoming, feel-good afternoon where women are gently matched with like-minded attendees to stroll, explore, sip, shop, and simply be together. No pressure. No awkwardness. No need to already “have a group.” Just an open invitation to step into connection on a mid February Sunday — and leave feeling lighter than when you arrived. So, if you’ve been craving community … If you’ve been feeling a bit isolated … If you’ve been waiting for a sign to say yes to something uplifting … This is it. You can learn more here - https://dirtywatermedia.com/galentines-day-stroll/ - or feel free to email me at [email protected] to chat. Come alone. Leave connected. We’ll meet you right where you are. 💗

If ever there was an event where you could throw caution to the wind and just go by yourself, this is it! It's a welcoming, leisurely stroll down Newbury Street with a bunch of like minded women. So get out of the house this Sunday and meet us there! The stroll kicks off around noon at Serafina Back Bay! Happy Galentine's Day!! xo

Thank you Maureen, we will get you to something soon. I am planning another yoga event - as well as a group night out to the Bruins game if that is of interest! Until then, stay warm. :-)
✨ A Note From Me — and an Invitation to Reconnect ✨
Hello Beautiful In Full Force Women, It’s been a little while since I’ve shared an update, and I wanted to reach out with a quick note about where I’ve been — and where I’m headed, especially as we move through this beautiful holiday season and toward a fresh New Year. And just as importantly, I want to ask: how have YOU been? This past year has been full of transformation for me — inside, outside, and with a fluffy new addition. I welcomed a new puppy, Dublin, named after one of my favorite places in the world. My time in Ireland was a huge part of how I healed and rediscovered myself after full-time motherhood, so bringing home Dublin felt symbolic — a reminder of adventure, renewal, and choosing joy. I posted a picture of her below. And now, the good news I’m so grateful to share: I’m no longer sad about the empty nest. I’m actually embracing and loving this new era! When I first created this group, I struggled with serious imposter syndrome. I wondered, “How can I support women who feel stuck in the empty nest when I’m still sitting in it so deeply myself?” But that’s exactly why this community matters — because none of us have to do this alone, and we don’t have to wait until everything feels perfect to begin growing. Over the past year, I made the intentional choice to use the empty nest not as a reason to shrink, but as an invitation to return to myself. I completed my Yoga Teacher Training, which grounded me in ways I didn’t realize I needed. Then my daughter went on CBS’s Survivor, and working with CBS and Bucketlisters to create the Survivor Café at The Greatest Bar lit up a whole new part of me — the part that loves designing experiences, building community, and creating moments that make people feel connected and alive. That spark continued into The Greatest Winter Wonderland, where I’ve poured my creativity into building joyful, immersive holiday experiences. From the Wreath & Gingerbread Decorating Parties to our Holiday Brunches, it’s been such a gift to watch people come together, laugh, create, and reconnect — especially during a season that can feel lonely for many.

Hello Kelly - thanks for asking - yes it is still active. I took some time away from it to both work on myself (completed my 200 hour yoga teacher training and got a new puppy :-) and create a better focus and line up of activities for this group. I will have some events to announce soon for the Fall. Look forward to sharing them soon!
