A big thank you to @Jen Pm and @Gina Trigo for jumping in early, testing things out, and sharing some really helpful feedback with me. Also thanks to @Nick Nebelsky for sharing an error message he got so I could also turn that up. Based on some of those first suggestions, I pushed out a few updates to the Book Publishing Kit today to make the experience smoother and more useful as you're working through your book. One thing I really want with these tools is for them to keep getting better based on how authors are actually using them — not just how I think they should work. So this is definitely not a “build it once and leave it alone” kind of resource. As more of you start using the Publishing Kit and send me suggestions, I’ll continue making improvements, adding helpful features, and cleaning up anything that could make the process easier.
