I’ve been on Skool since June and I discovered that basically who has a Skool community one of these has seven paid offers: Digital products (templates, checklists guides) AI (bots, skills, assistants) Memberships Coaching/Consulting Interactive apps Building complete Skools to sell Affiliate offers The disconnect is that community owners are blindly selling anything without intention or strategy. If you have a membership , people can care less about a template or a checklist. Your lead magnet must sell without selling connection and community. Now, if you have a content library membership where it’s pretty much DFY, these customers could less about your masterclass. They want to see the templates, the DFY Skools they can buy and customize, the prebuilt apps they can remix and rebrand, AI avatar creation and AI avatar lifestyle and every prompt under the sun. If you’re selling premium services like coaching , consulting, or provider services like marketing, social media, they need to see your genius and expertise in action.Because for them, seeing is believing, so you need a workshop or a masterclass, where you highlight a feature from your program that’s shows the benefit AND results they will get without you having to shout buy my thing. However, they need the Skills, bots interactive webpages and assistants that can be customized to their niche. And that leads affiliate marketing. A lot of people are approaching this the wrong way. There are two ways to play the affiliate marketing game. A: You find other people’s products, promote them, collect commissions, and repeat. B: You promote other people’s products AND sell your own. But here’s where most people get B wrong. Your product shouldn’t just compete with the affiliate product. It should elevate what the buyer can accomplish with it. For example: You promote an AI tool that helps businesses automate tasks. That’s the affiliate sale. But you also sell a plug-and-play system showing business owners how to use that exact tool to automate client follow-ups and book more appointments.
