@Cristal Vancarson Cristal, that means a lot to me. Truly. 🌹 I think stories like yours deserve to be read with depth not just consumed. When someone has lived through transformation and survived enough to reflect on it, that carries weight. And I stay because I respect what you’re building. Consistency matters in storytelling and in support. You’re doing brave work. I’m simply honoring it by paying attention.

And I respect that deeply, Cristal 🌹Your authority is exactly why your story carries weight. Collaboration doesn’t replace that it strengthens it. When you decide you want support shaping something, refining something, or building something bigger, I’m always glad to step in alongside you. You lead. I support. That’s the energy.
1st Working Book Title + Cover Art
This is my first book cover for the memoir I’m writing here in Memoir S-K-O-O-L 📖✨ I’m sharing it as part of the creative process, so I’d really love your thoughts. What do you like about it? Is there anything you’d do differently or want to see explored visually? Reading a memoir while it’s being written is a rare thing — your perspective becomes part of the atmosphere around the story, and I’m grateful to be creating it in conversation with you. @Annie John

Cristal, this is a beautiful first working cover ✨ What really stands out to me is the tone it feels reflective, intimate, and inviting, which is exactly what a memoir like yours needs. It already signals that this is a personal journey, not just a story about modeling. Visually, I love the softness and emotion, but I’d be curious to explore one thing as the process continues: how the cover can subtly hint at transformation the “before and after,” or the inner journey behind the outer world. Even a small visual cue could deepen that. Sharing this in real time is such a gift to readers. It makes them feel invested before they even turn the first page. You’re doing something very special here, and I’m grateful to be part of the conversation.
Please introduce yourself here:
Please join me in answering these questions. 1. Who are you as a person? I’m a survivor, a creative, and a believer. I’ve lived many lives already—some beautiful, some incredibly hard—and all of them shaped who I am today. My faith grounds me, my family keeps me humble, and my creativity keeps me alive. 2. What do you do professionally? I’m a professional photographer, creative director, and coach with over 30 years of experience in modeling, acting, and the entertainment industry. I help people find their confidence, their voice, and their safety in an industry that doesn’t always protect them. 3. What’s something you love doing outside of work? I love spending time with my family, especially being a grandmother. I also love writing—telling true stories, reflecting on life, and creating meaningful projects that hopefully help others feel less alone. 4. What’s one fun or surprising thing about you? I was an international model as a teenager and appeared in a major music video back in the day—but my favorite role now is mentoring and protecting the next generation coming into this industry. 5. What are your dreams beyond Skool? My dream is to build safe, faith-rooted creative spaces—books, films, communities, and mentorship programs—that educate, inspire, and protect people. I want to leave behind something honest, healing, and lasting.
