Using The Rule of thirds:
Using The Rule of thirds: I places the subjects (cinema and church) along the intersecting lines of the rule of thirds, creating visual balance The long, diagonal line of the cinema building draws Your eye from the left foreground into the background, leading naturally to the towering church spire. Foreground interest: The signage and entrance of the cinema provide a focal point. I should have made more of an effort to Show the whole Cinema sign without obstruction by using a higher view point.

IMHO so-called rules of composition are actually guides not absolute rules. Only photography judges worry. My OPINION is https://larrysphotography41.blogspot.com/2025/05/stop-teaching-rules-of-composition.html?m=1
Have you heard
Something like "use a wide Aperture to isolate your subject" and similar in photography? What's the truth? What is your truth? Please comment here.

Actually distance between camera and subject is large factor.
Telephoto Flash extender
Recently I saw a photo using a telephoto with a telephoto flash extender. Has anyone used one, specifically for bird photography? If you have comment out it's use and it it practical?

Engagement Shoot
I just did my first paid engagement shoot the other night and would love criticism/feedback on a couple of the pictures from it!

You may want to ask chatGPT or Gemini to critique your photos. BUT balance that with other real input.. Have you met your goals? Is the customer pleased? When printed at the customers size , media will they be thrilled?

Some may comment on the amount sky. For some skin on the lower Right. Are the face/eyes sharp? Do the grasses distract from the people? Consider the camera ratio and possible print sizes. https://larrysphotography41.blogspot.com/2020/11/why-worry.html?m=1
Travel Photography
I’m currently traveling for work, and every time I travel I learn SO MUCH about traveling as a photographer. Would love to hear some of y’all’s favorite travel experiences and tips as a photographer! Or if there is something you’d absolutely recommend NOT doing! I feel like I have lots of those 🤦🏼‍♀️

What not to do: Don't stop traveling! Do: Always have a camera with you. Have a redundant backup strategy. Get the shot Turn around when you think missed an opportunity. Learn about potential photography sites. Use AI for potential photography opportunities. For example https://g.co/gemini/share/84568b52086a
