A Singer’s Confession
Let’s be honest for a moment. Have you ever rehearsed a single note over and over refining it, adjusting it, working for perfection only to deliver it flawlessly when no one was recording? It’s almost as if the best takes happen when the pressure disappears. As performers, we all have those moments when something works effortlessly in private, yet feels just out of reach under observation. I’m curious what’s your it only works when nobody’s watching experience? Let’s talk about it.

@Tom BurtonI really like your approach it feels very authentic and intentional. Working with a one-take philosophy brings out real emotion, and it makes sense that you prioritize intuition over overthinking. I also respect how you adapt creatively instead of forcing something that doesn’t sit right. Replacing certain vocal parts with instruments to preserve the melody is a smart and musical decision it keeps the integrity of the idea while maintaining quality. Overall, your process shows a strong sense of artistry and self-awareness, and that definitely comes through in the sound. If you ever need any support with refining or enhancing your production while keeping that raw feel, I’d be happy to help. are you currently looking to refine your production, improve vocal arrangement, or present your work more professionally for release or promotion?

A second song…
I’ve written and sung another song called “ghosts” - I’m not sure wether to post now or wait until after my debut “when the lights go” on the 26th of March…hmmm

@Rhi Lombardi That’s actually a really meaningful way to start your music journey. Releasing “When the Lights Go” on Purple Day for epilepsy awareness gives the song a powerful purpose and story behind it. Music that comes from real experience often connects the most with people. When it comes to releases, many independent artists usually wait 4 8 weeks between songs. This gives enough time to promote the current track, share the story behind it, and keep people engaged before the next one drops.

Fully AI Album
I thought I'd try and experiment and I created 10x instrumental tracks on Suno and uploaded them directly onto SoundOn and used their native AI cover generator to generate the album artwork. The album has been approved so got x10 more tracks for the playlists on the way. Also got a new Tom Burton track out for the playlists on Sunday.
