Almost Ever After
Ok I know this is close to after ever after but this is taken in context long after ever after when you can look back and just appreciate what it was. Almost Ever After[Verse 1] There was once upon a time And God I loved that then When everything was right Before it had to end I still think about you Every now and then Wishing for a moment Our story could begin again Back when your smile felt like home And tomorrow felt so near We were looking toward forever Like it could never disappear We had no reason to believe It could ever fall apart Two reckless hearts Tearing through the dark [Pre-Chorus] Little did we know Tomorrow would bring the night We lost our forever Without putting up a fight [Chorus] Almost ever after Still means there was us A beautiful disaster Even if it wasn’t enough I’d rather have the memories And still feel the loss Almost ever after Is better than never was [Verse 2] Another chapter In a story that barely just began Back when I still believed That ours would never end I miss all the times It was you and me Making plans together For a dream that couldn’t be Thinking we were different Thinking we had found a way Chasing down tomorrow Like it could ever stay Dreams like love can die And get lost in yesterday Still we held on tight To a love that couldn’t stay [Pre-Chorus] Little did we know Tomorrow would bring goodbye We lost our forever Without putting up a fight [Chorus] Almost ever after Still means there was us A beautiful disaster Even if it wasn’t enough I’d rather have the memories And still feel the loss Almost ever after Is better than never was [Bridge] The years kept rolling Like thunder across the plains They carried off the heartache But never washed you away I don’t chase the what-ifs Or wish for something new I’m thankful for the time That I shared with you [Final Chorus] Almost ever after Still means there was us A beautiful disaster Even if it wasn’t enough I’d rather have the memories And still feel the loss

Other People’s ART šŸ–¤šŸ–¤šŸ–¤
I answered a question in another group just now, and this thought came about… Thought I’d bring it over here to discuss with all of you today. šŸ–¤ The šŸ’ When thinking about inspiration, can a single line or word from another piece of art inspire you to create something completely new? Yes!!! Finding inspiration in someones art is a wonderful place to start. Honoring something that touched you and stayed with you can spark a whole new idea. Books, movies, art—I am always thinking about them and looking for ideas, different ways of viewing this world. When I find something that inspires me, I immediately write it down in my notes app or scribble it in a journal, then get back to it later when I have time to write. Sometimes those perspectives vibe from conversations, sometimes published work. And then… The endurance that carries you through writing your art can be found by pouring your own lived experiences into the story. Just like Paul Coelho showed us in his book The Alchemist. Your perspective is unique. Nobody has ever lived your exact life, and by drawing from those hard painful and lived experiences and feelings, we can create strong emotion in our stories. That emotion becomes relatable for the reader and memorable in your work. šŸ–¤ What are your thoughts???

Have you read The Alchemist, by Paulo Coelho
I fully know this post was written by Ai, but the book wasn’t… The author of The Alchemist Paul Coelho endured a whole lot to bring his dream to fruition. Including parents whom committed him to mental institutions 3 times to endure electroshock therapy amount other ā€œtreatmentsā€ all because he had a wild dream. A freedom we enjoy everyday in the group, writing šŸ–¤ Can you imagine that? But the outcome of all that pain = he had something to say. He poured his whole journey into his novel and what became was something unique. ā€œThere is a line in that book that Paulo clearly lived before he ever wrote it: ""When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it."" He did not just write those words. He earned them. Whatever you are carrying right now, the doubt, the closed doors, the voices that said you were not enough, remember this: the world has been wrong about people like you before. Keep going. Your story is not finished yet.ā€ Read the post here ā¬‡ļø https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=1452172363609447&set=a.597461792413846&type=3&mibextid=wwXIfr
