Interested in Being a BETA Reader?! 😁
So, since I'm working on my next book right now, I need to start thinking about BETA readers. If anyone is interested in being one for me, I would really appreciate it! ‼️FOREWARNING!‼️ My book is going to be about cutting ties from a family member and that it's okay to do that! Along with that, there's a father on his death bed, a cop chasing scene along with an unconventional kind of life. There's a road trip involved, and a lot of promiscuity. 🛌 👮 🚗 💕 It can be a hard one to read for some since it's going to be pretty raw and authentic with the story. However, all of the characters names and how they look vary. This was a way that I kept some distance from what I've been writing about. Now, I'm not sure when I will need the BETA readers. But I know that getting some decided at the beginning can be helpful since it puts more of a fire under my butt to get to that stage! 🔥 By the way, the BETA Reader stage is when you have gone through your first draft and edited it yourself. Then you get BETA readers' eyes on it to give you some suggestions on what you ask them to look for along with other suggestions they may have. 📝 A BETA Reader is someone that looks at the manuscript after the author has edited it and gives their feedback. It hasn't even gone into the hands of a professional editor yet! Let me know if you're interested!! ❤️ Thanks!!

Sounds interesting.. It seems that the "beta reading" would happen in the late/final stage of the book... How about "alpha reading" that can "track along" with the initial drafts and sketches... the raw beginnings... etc. ?
I NEED your HELP! 🥺
So, I’ve been busy on our family road trip, and in life! I lost track of the days! And now, today is Mother’s Day here in Sweden! 🇸🇪 Ahh!!! 😦 My mom is here and I wanted to get her a good fantasy book. 📕 But I have no idea what to choose! So, can you help me decide on what kind of fantasy to get her?? Thanks!!🙏

I loved "Fairy Tale" by Stephen King!!!!

@Dani Rosenblad James Exciting more than scary... meaning that Stephen King has a reputation for "horror".... and the movies made from his book seem to focus (exclusively) on that "horror aspect"... but I find that the deep dive into the characters and what they reveal about ourselves is the scary part. And the "horror" in the book is more of a minor scaffolding for the truer and deeper writing. Fairy Tale is relatively light and fun with his typical deep character development.
