I’ve been sitting through a few summits lately…
Especially Brenda's provides so much value. She brings you so many brilliant people, and you will have so many ideas flying around at you at once. At the same time, you have that quiet voice of “I should be everywhere right now.” You open one session -> you see another speaker You check one community -> you discover five more You start taking notes -> now you have 30 tabs open (happens to me even without a summit. 😂) You find yourself busy all day, a bit mentally exhausted, and somehow still feel behind, because you did not make it to all the speakers. I think you don’t learn new things at a summit by consuming everything. You win by choosing what actually matters to you right now. Below are a few things that have helped me stay grounded over the last couple of summits I attended: 𝟭. 𝗣𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗮 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗲 (𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗻𝗼𝘄) 𝗮𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴. Ask yourself: 👉 “What is the ONE thing I want to walk away with from this summit?” ? more clarity on your offer ? better content ? understanding Skool ? learning AI Pick one. Let the rest go (for now). 𝟮. 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲. People are literally saying: They’ll stay all day if they don’t set limits timers help Short bursts work better 👉 Go in with intention. (Point 1) 👉 Engage. (so important. Ask questions!) 👉 Leave. (and implement immediate action points) Some people think they need to park their brains at summits all day long, every day. I don't think it is true. It will only enhance the shiny object syndrome. 𝟯. 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲. This one is big. There’s this pressure to: show up everywhere be visible in every room not miss anything But most of the time: 👉 the replay is enough 👉 or honestly… not everything is for you 𝟰. 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝟮𝟬 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 Instead of collecting too many notes and information, I find it helpful to pick one thing per session: - one idea - one shift - one action 𝟱. 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝘁𝗵𝗲 “𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗵𝘂𝗻𝘁” 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗽 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁.

I love this perspective, because I typically get overwhelmed with so much info at once. This time I will pick a lane and only capture my biggest takeaways, not try to jot down all the things!! Thank you for this post!

👋 Welcome New Members - Let's Build Our Skools Together
You’re in the right room if you’re a midlife woman business owner or Skool host who’s done waiting to feel “ready.” If visibility matters in 2026 — this is where you build it. This is a summit-first, collaboration-driven community built on momentum, not content consumption. Here’s how to get started: 👉 Start the Leaderboard Visibility Challenge (Levels 1–6) Not competition — participation. Every action unlocks visibility opportunities in our community, like sharing a freebie, hosting a networking call with members, or leading a workshop 👉 Check the Calendar - Our next summit - Built to Be Seen is on March 30-April 1 - Our next Global Networking Call is with @Siri Baruc Thornton on March 10 - SIGN UP 👉 Introduce Yourself - Post your introduction here in the comments - Let us know who you are, who you work with, what your business is about without sharing links - Get to Level 3 and you can start sharing link. See our posting guidelines. These tips is the fastest way to spark conversations and build real connections in our community. This community spans the globe. The relationships you build here often become the most valuable part.
