These last two months have reignited so many valuable life lessons and sparked SO MANY MORE!! Most importantly it's shown my the NEED for the community that I'm building. I was only touching the surface (as valuable as that still is) for what I'm doing. I'm now adding phases on men's mental and spiritual health during the process after hitting a breaking point 2 weeks ago that's been building up for a long time with the year we have had here!! The last 2 weeks for me have been a real head trip getting everything together! (and getting ready for baby to come which is due today YEEHAA)! I've found that setting up what I am building, my mindset has shifted to this place that I haven't experienced before so I thought I would share this to get some feedback from whoever was willing to share. Years ago growing up as a musician I've literally played music in front of 10's of thousands of people and running the workshops I used to run in the legal/lawful arena I spoke in front of, and to thousands of people again. Now setting up what I am setting up now, in person I can talk anyone's ear off with confidence and clarity just as I use to on stage.... and yet when I hit that record button on my laptop, my head goes every which way but forward!!! I'm watching it thinking "seriously what the fuck!" but it keeps happening. I sat down the other night having my conversation with myself (not in a schizophrenic way), and wrote out the words on the image attached here so i could get out of the way. I'm really not sure what it is about the camera but for some reason it just fuckin shrinks me! I know the message and the project I am working on has the ability to change so many lives in an incredible way, and today managed to squeeze out the first video so this is a win no matter how it comes across. As a firm believer in accountability and vulnerability I decided to reach out and see what you fine folks have to offer about it. Is anyone else going through the same thing?
