On my Youtube journey I went through the first 3 stages of Alex Hormozi's business cycle graph, and now I'm in informed optimism. I am the classic example of someone who thought a business model would be way easier than it actually is. I burned out a lot, struggled and went through a massive transformation in myself and my business strategy. Now as I slowly climb towards informed optimism I want to share a quote that @Mete Olmez brought to my attention yesterday. "You are not ahead nor behind, you are exactly where you need to be." It's sooooo easy to get caught up, forgetting the present moment is the one worth focusing on. In my life it has gotten harder and harder in all aspects and I'm just happy and grateful for the uncertainty. This life will pass so fast, and every experience of pain is a way for me to be grateful for consciousness itself. I want all of you guys to know that I love you and I'm rooting for you even though I'm not present in the group too often. Life is hard man, but these moments too shall pass.

Yeah not great. Here’s the context: It all started with a simple deal with a gym in my area. I used to go there but left because my funds were low, but anyways I wanted to come back and told them I would offer my services in exchange for a couple months free. At first they declined, and came back to me weeks later saying I needed to do a ton of work for them to agree. Then I declined their offer and said I would never do all that. In the back of my mind I had a feeling that they wanted to take advantage of me so I simply said no. Fast forward a couple weeks from that point and they simply told me I could do website photos for 6 months free, I was like hmm okay this doesn’t seem too bad. 6 months membership = ~$400 savings so I was like alright cool and so I did it for them. The biggest problem here is the deal was over the phone, and so there was no proof of it over text. This was my biggest mistake. I also didn’t give them a contract to sign since I knew the gym owners after going there for over a year and I felt like I can trust them. Moral of the story, don’t trust anyone!!!! I got a message saying that I will only get 3 months, of the free gym membership and when I asked why he said that was the original deal which I can guarantee it wasn’t. I tried telling him that I remember correctly but he ignored me and threatened to cut off the deal if I complained about it. The harsh reality is that in business you’ll meet people who look down on you because of your age. The owners wanted to take advantage of me from the start, and I gave in thinking we have mutual trust. NEVER MAKE THIS MISTAKE, ALWAYS HAVE A CONTRACT

Completely switched up my business structure. Now I’m less than the business, doing higher paying more enjoyable jobs, actually focusing on the mission at large. Hopefully, I can make enough money with this not to go to college but man is life good right now!! I have so much to teach you guys in the next coming course material. So many things that I wish someone taught me four months ago. Apologies for my inactivity, but yeah hope and pray that things are going well for whoever is reading this as well!
