For the Forseeable Future
Hello friends, As you may know, I suffered an MS relapse recently. I was hoping I would be better now, but I have not recovered. I do not know how long it will take me to get back to a workable baseline. Mostly, right now, I sleep. As soon as I know anything about my condition and when it might improve, I will update this thread. Power Hour is canceled for the forseeable future, and I am sorry. I will miss you all. I apologize for any inconvenience this causes. This is not how I prefer to work, but my body has made itself clear. Feel free to message me with any questions you may have about how we are going to go forward, and I will field them as efficiently as I can. Thank you for your patience. Love, Kristin

Sorry to hear your body is working so hard against you. Sending good thoughts your way.
How are y’all?
I’m on the couch this Sunday journaling and reflecting, and I’d love to hear from y’all. What are you struggling with today? Any productivity concerns? I’m happy to advise in this thread.

I'm struggling to stay productive. Since losing my job, I've been hitting the job applications and a personal project, but every day is a whole new fight to actually get to work on those things. I'm getting there, but I can't imagine it's going to get easier.

@Kristin Lindsley On the plus side, I'm really glad to have a robust a network as I do, because there are so many people who have been sending listings my way. Makes it way easier to find jobs to apply for.
Welcome, Lab Rats & Igors! 🐀🧪
We've had a couple of people join, and I'd really love to know more about how I can serve y'all better. Aside from the body-doubling Power Hours, what else would y'all like to see here? I am planning to upload trackers that folks can download for free, and do a few writeups of my general productivity philosophy and put them in the Class room. What else sounds good?

It would be great to develop some sort of method for capturing ideas I have in the moment So that I can turn them into actual projects. The steady-state things are easy enough, but I've never managed to create a lasting system to record the stuff I want to build outside of that.
So grateful!
I'm really glad to have this group for helping me stay focused on stuff. Now that I've passed my cert, I'm looking forward to putting that time into new projects.
